On an Eagle's Wings

I was a prey, though I knew my captor very well
Yes, I saw him coming, yet I let him take me somehow
Into his world…. into his dormain
He lifted me way up to the sky on his Eagle's wings
What an experience it was, one I cannot forget
For it would marvel anyone just to see and feel, what I have!
The pleasure of flying so high, being held by your Eagle, as you fly
Teaching you all that you don't know, yet holding you very close
Helping you develope and grow… yes!
Those Eagle's wings took me away, to a paradise I must say
One where life can stay very still, yet you don't realize that you have your fill,
Of life’s pleasures, which are simple yet, many can't seem to see,
What it means when they set you free!
As I traveled through many lands, that my Eagle surely knew,
I was mesmerized by what I found,
was the simplest pleasure of life!
I can't wait to experience this again,
With my Eagle and on his wings, where he will carry me
To places unknown to me and hold me tenderly.
Tell me my Eagle now, why are you so high up the cloud?
Can't you come down to me, so I can fly away with thee!
