Two Worlds…..One Soul

Two minds going in different directions
Yet with similar goals and dreams,
connected by their soul.... their heart.
Where will they meet or will they again?
Could they make time?
Isn't it important enough to merit the time?
Maybe time is against all that they approach.
Maybe it is the hand of God guiding them in the right direction.
Whatever the reason, it makes you wonder if it would be,
however, we cannot say just yet......for only God knows!
For every step forwards.... unites two in different directions.
How can something that should be,
have all these obstacles...approaching?
Maybe it is fate or is it their deep feelings
or fears of not wanting more than thus far have been given.
Yet.... when they speak....they sing a different tune....
one so rich and beautiful....like a piano
the music emitted sends us into this magical world.
Peaceful….where time flies…..love is absorbed!
Why is it that more time can't be given to them?
Why isn't it one of life's priorities?
Can't we stop the clock....please
Could it be that he is so assured,
that he thinks that it will happen eventually?
Sadness overwhelms her soul with these thoughts...
Is it not important enough for him....her....their life?
Yet if they close their eyes....they feel fulfilled…loved!
If they read between the lines,
the feelings are unique....captivating…lasting….concrete!
Yes, they can even feel their love
being emitted….feel its'presence..... at a distance!
How could this be? She asks God every night!
Should she follow her heart or let her mind guide her?
Could he be feeling the same things...at a distance!
