Yo salsa lovers, there is a couple of kicking ass CD's on the market. Jump on the new Cheo Feliciano, where he pays tribute to the great singers that have past away. The whole production is bad. Also my tocayo, Ray Sepulveda just came out with one of his best yet, titled "SALSABOR". It was done in Puerto Rico and it is slamming! Mr. Afinque himself, Willie Rosario has a new product with Gilberto Santarosa & Tony Vega singing some tunes. You can't go wrong with any of these productions.
QUE VIVA LA SALSA!!!!!!!!!!! |

hi jeni, U got good taste in your music. The more i listen to the new Ray Sepulveda "SALSABOR" CD, the more I love it. It's got traditional salsa, romantic salsa and tipico salsa. Very versatile. Lot's of swing!!!!! One of his best yet. You'll probably remember Ray from the Johnny & Ray "SALSA CON CLASE" days. He is the voice of hits like MASCARADA, MARGARITA, BANDOLERA. He did the hit "NO VALE LA PENA" With the Combinacion Perfecta. Check him out, you won't regret it. The Willie Rosario CD will also blow you away.

Hey Everybody:
Here's one for true classsic salsa and latin jazz lovers to check out: Eddie Palmieri & Friends - "Live!" (RMD): Forget Ricky Martin. To hear some really hot Latin music, pick up Eddie Palmieri's new album, "Live." Palmieri, who's led bands for 38 years and won 5 Grammys, makes some of the most rhythmic music around, fusing such Afro-Cuban styles as the rumba and mambo with the free-wheeling, gut-churning jazz improvisation of his twelve member band. Let me know how you like it after you listen to it. |

To SALSAVELEZ:
When's your new CD expected? I host a Latin show on cable TV called: LATINHEAT. We showcase up and coming Latin musical artists as well as veterans in this genre. We've interviewed Domingo Quinones, Tito Nieves, Grup Imagen and others. Email me at anameow@aol.com with your bio/pix/information and perhaps we can talk about putting you in our future show. Good Luck. |
