Description: “SAME-SEX SALSA� NIGHTCLUB STYLE SALSA/MAMBO "ON2" BASIC BEGINNER LEVEL 1. This class is specially designed for those wishing to dance with a person of the same sex regardless of sexual preferences. This class starts from the basics and moves through the essential steps to help you survive out there to feel confident enough to dance socially at parties and clubs. The first half hour of class will begin by breaking down the basic steps, 1 or 2 shines (individual fancy footwork) and individual turns. The next 1½ hours of class will move into partnering. Danny will teach the leaders how to develop strong leading techniques and Cindy will teach the followers smoothness, elegant styling (accents), and basic body movement skills. Each week you will learn new moves you can try on the dance floor, as well as creative ways to combine them and mix them up. Each week new steps and turns are taught and previous weeks’ steps and turn patterns are reviewed. Increase your salsa repertoire so you and your partner are never bored, even if you are just beginning.

Maybe it is OK for women to dance with other women, I see it all the time, especially salseras, but even whenever I go out to dance.
