From the ending credits, this is from OUR LATIN THING production- I may have seen the whole production DECADES ago.

This was phenomenal- I admitedly could only identify Willie and Hector; wondering who was on the 2nd trombone, piano and timbales.

The little boy salsating was tooo cute!!

Bring back memories galore, Hector, so young and full of life.

In today's ( 02-28-06) El Nuevo Dia (endi.com) there is a very insightful essay on Hector Lavoe and his career. I recomend it to you guys.

He was adorable wasn't he! And probably the only one who knew history was in the making! The piano player is Prof. Joe Torres, on congas Milton Cardona, on bongo Jose Mangual Jr. aka El Campanero (son Boricua as well as solo artist aka Barranquillero Arrebatao with Sarabanda), Louie Romero on timbal and forgot the other bone player and the bass player. This was in Panama on canal 2 between 70-72. Someone played with the videos ending and added the Our Latin Thing as a background. They should of left it alone....but the original ones are out there. Powerful sound and the brass is kicking. They go at it at the end! This is SALSA! Nothing Cuban here!!!! Fulano did you overlook the Mi Gente video?
