This one here is Padrino. I use to visit him during my summer visits to my Grandmothers in Bayamon. He baptized my mom in 1928.

Gracias Don Khuttar

Don Khuttar, thank you very much for the cuatro site, our family is really having fun with our music, specially my mother-in-law who is in her eighties and is reliving many sweet memories about the island and the music of our ancestors. Thanks again!!
Jane, Chuito has always been my favorite of all the cantores de la musica del campo, good clear voice, melodious interpretations and funny as heck!!! He was the first one we listened to.

Did you click on to hear La Vieja Voladora? They have the lyrics in Spanish and English! Mami said Madrina was always jealous of Natalia swearing both of them were having an affair!

Los Seis is proof El Son was no stranger to Puerto Rican musicians. We just knew it as one of many variants of Los Seis's. That's why you have that distinct sound in Salsa which differs from Cuban Mambo y Son.

Gracias por la aportacion.
