Greetings --- As the former Director of Development of The Cleveland (Ohio) Orchestra for twenty years, I know first-hand that working to have a first-class organization requires more than selling as many tickets to patrons as possible. And that is true no matter what the size and type of arts and culture organization. Simply put, earned income possibilities for arts and culture organization --- indeed for any non-profit or non-government organization --- are limited and sometimes not possible. That's why all such organization require fund-raising campaigns.
While on vacation in wonderful Puerto Rico this coming February, I have volunteered to conduct a fund-raising workshop (for any non-profit and NGO). The workshop will take place in Caguas. The event is being produced by several individuals who are active in their own various non-profits. The date is to be confirmed, but seems likely to be around the 20th. If you are interested, just let me know and I will forward your message to the folks in Caguas who will be producing the event. It will be my pleasure to meet you and to work to help with your particular fund-raising needs.
Regards,
Tony Poderis
