Trinadad is the greatest example. there rases and languages consist of Spanish
Hindu
arabic
English being the main language.
French which was once used as a mixture with spanish.

Jamaicans have a strong langauge mixture
Portuguese
English
spanish
African


As a part the caribbean you peurto ricans make your selfs outsiders and want to have more involvement in caricom (caribbean community)If you thought about your neighbours a little more we could unite in our similarities rather than differences. We all like rice and beans it is a national caribbean dish, lobsters and hot peppers. I,m not hating as I am glad that you are bigging up your people and inheritence.
Both of my parents r from the caribbean and the english speaking caribbean at that. One is from Jamaiaca the other is from Grenada I know what I am talking about I have creole blood. Portugese, French , Indian and african.

El nombre America fue usado por primera vez en un mapa aleman en el ano 1528, asi es que basicamente el nombre de este continente se le dio por Puerto Rico y la Espanola que eran los bastiones y centro de poder del dominio europeo en esa epoca. El genocidio de Mejico apenas habia comenzado y Pizarro apenas habia comenzado a exterminar el imperio inca.
No dejemos que los gringos co-opten el nombre America, nos pertenece a todos nosotros.

Los boricuas tenemos un bagage genetico inmenso por nuestra mezcla de razas ( no una ensalada como en los EU, que se llaman asi mismos el "melting pot"), nosotros estamos preparados para enfrentar los cataclismos ambientales, sociales y culturales y sobrevivir en un mundo cada dia mas hostil. Son mas de 500 anos y contando... Asi es que si quieres sobrevivir, consigue un poco de nuestra sangre.
