This is basically a question for anyone residing here in NYC who knows of a very good spanish restaurant where I can eat some MONDONGO or SANCOCHO.
I have the taste for it like you would not believe and I used to go to this little chinesse cuban restaurant on 119 st under the #1 train but they are not there naymore.
Any suggestions.

Rolandoq:

If you're ever anywhere near West Farms in the Bronx, check out El Bohio.

El Bohio is a little hole in wall - 100% Puerto Rican restaurant. The owners, and everybody that works there, are from Corozal. The food is so good that on most days there is a line to get in. There specialty is Mofongo and Pernil. During the Holidays people put in their pernil order 2 & 3 weeks in advance. They serve Mondongo and Sancocho. They also have the best pasteles in town, year round. The kitchen is clean, the employees treat you like family and you can't beat the price anywhere in NYC. When you go there be sure not to have eaten lunch beacuse you're going to want to pig out. I'll get back to you with the exact address a little later in the day.

Bon Apetite.

Still waiting for the address to EL BOHIO.
My tastebuds are just itching for some sancocho or mondongo or some very good cooked arroz con gandules and pernil.
Also I like alcapurrias when they are made soft and you can taste the platanos.
All spanish food taste good specially if is done with love the way las purtoriquenas do it.
