YES I LIVE AT 161 ST THE AREA IS STILL THE SAME ME AND MY WIFE WAS RAISED AT 146 BROOK AVE.........THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS LESS DRUGS/FIGHTS MORE COPS PATROLING THE STREETS...WHICH IS GOOD....WOW WE JUST MIGHT KNOW EACH OTHER...SMALL WORLD

Well I never lived there but my ex who is boriqua lived over there. on Gerrerd ave and he was always talking about grand concourse or something .

I lived in Texas now, but till 3 years ago, I lived in the South Bronx, my last address was on 163 Intervale. I grew up in the projects on Courtlandt ave 156, the Jackson Houses. I was never a hang out person, but my brothers were.. Their names are Jose or Gordo or Eddie. I have a very good friend living at 143 Third Avenue I think is the Patterson projects her name is Yoli.
Since the world is so small, does any of these sound familiar..

I grew up on 157th street & Walton Avenue. I live in California now. I visit the old neighborhood every summer and things have actually changed. Less drugs visible to the eye with more cops visible. I think it's a little bit cleaner now too but compared to CAli it's still to dam dirty. I use to hang out on Mt. Eden and Walton for a little while and 183th and the Grand Concourse by that church LGA. My last address was 2033 Valentine Avenue off of Burnside. I was into all that Zulu stuff and the little gangs from the hood. Now it's all about putting in a hard days work and just visiting NY. I love visiting and partying but my home is here in Cali now.
