i think it's what you do with who you are. you can be your own person all you want in a little cave...but that doesn't make a difference.

I agree with you. I do think it is who you are now. You can aspire to be a lot of things. You could have been a lot of things in the past. But some people change with time. You get older and smarter.

Who you are now has a lot to do with who you will be. If you want to be a Doctor, Laywer, Psychologist, Writer or whatever and you are going to college, then you are on the right track. If you are talking to people that are in the profession that you want to go into or have the same type of wisdom that you want to have, then you are on the right track. If you are just sitting home doing nothing, then that is what you will continue to be...a person sitting home doing nothing. As minorities we can accomplish and be pretty much anything we want to be now.
