Do you realize the plan to get rid of poor and "undesirable" people is a joint effort between the rich and politicians? The corporations want people to buy all the stupid products they are selling and they pay off the politicians to fix the world for them to make more money and keep the stock holders happy. God doesnt have anything to do about this conspiracy, this is all about money and greed and if you are not playing their game they dont want you arround. Wait until Puerto Rico becomes a state! There wont be a poor person arround because theyll run them out of their homes and steal their properties to build K-Marts and sell Martha Steward Sheets and pillowcases.

GOD is love. i've never known someone who would come down from being rich and happy to be beaten and spat upon and whipped and then to give up their lives for people like you and me who don't even fathom the concept of love.

love is not sex, and it is not hanging out together all the time, and it is not fun...

love is hard work, love is sacrifice, love will try your patience.

love is having compassion and caring for people who are cruel to you, to people who hate you, respecting the unrespectable, loving the unloveable, caring for the careless.
it's easy to be nice to someone who's nice to you. the challenge, the love part, comes in when you have to love someone who doesn't love you and who isn't kind in return.
and this is what GOD has done, over and over again...love us even though we didn't acknowledge Him or love Him in return.

God created us and left the rest up to us. We have the capacity for good and for evil. Your own existence is a testament to this.
On one hand you come in here and chat with us, you learn form us and you teach us, you go to school to improve yourself, you work out. These are all good things. On the other hand, you manifest your pain and frustration in a violent manner. This is bad. You know that you have a choice. You exercise those choices as you see fit depending upon how strong or weak you are feeling at any particular moment.

Peace is an internal and very individual thing. One must find it within oneself even when everything around us is in chaos. The same thing, in my opinion, applies to love.
You must find love within your heart, even when surrounded by ahtred, violence and ugliness. That is our test in life. To be able to strike a balance between the positive and the negative. Find the middle. For me the middle is a place from which I can see both ends. I am aware of what id good and beautiful - I allow myself to receive my share of it everyday - but I am also aware of what is evil and ugly and I prepeare to defend myself from it everyday.
I believe that we get from life what we put into it. Work hard and you will reap the benefits of working hard. Love without restraint and you will be loved without restaint. LIfe really is what we make it Cristobal. These are not cliches. I feel you rpain and anger. I know the ghetto. I climbed out ghetto's in NY and ghetto's in PR. Where I was born, most people are either dead or in prison by age 19. But I made a decision not to follow suit. It is hard, but it is possible. Keep your eyes aimed hig, but remember what is good and everlasting in life, does not come easy. It is earned, in every sense of the word earned, with sweat and blood.

Don't keep yourself down with the jaded mentality of th eoppressed of the ghetto. Tell yourself everyday - "I deserve better and I will have a better life". These, my beloved brother, are positive affirmations.
Reprogram yourself to believe that you deserve success, peace and love.

But, Cristobal, arrive at your own conclusion of what these things mean to you. Success for example should not be measured on the basis of how much material wealth you can amass, but rather how much love, happiness and good you can create for yourself and others. Even if you never get rich. many of us are not rich, but we hold are own. We make ends meet. We live a moderate existance. But we are at peace with ourselves and others. To me, that is wealth and success. May you find peace within your heart.

Now guys my point is this if man controls his own destiny as you now say then why the hell are we always thanking God? And Nicoletta- study your bible- God didn't suffer on the cross it was his "son" Jesus. God never even cared enough to walk amungst us. I am not letting the Ghetto get the best of me- I am simply telling you what God let man show me. Yeah I know what I deserve and I know that I will never have it- that dosen't mean that I'm giving up on life- it simply means that I am going to go as far as I can by any means necessary! I think that if God really loved us he would "reprogram" us because the way he created us ain't working!
