One thing I love to do is remove my shoes and feel the sand between my toes.....oh it is so good the warnth beneath your feet as you walk and you want to refesh yourself in the ocean waters.....oh what coolness...yet the water wasn't as cool and cold as in the Jersey Shore. I remember how whenI would try to do the same thing in New Jersey how my toes would cramp up from the cold.....but in our Isla....the sand was warm, in some places it was hot but the water was soo cool. I went in....slowly, hoping to feel the water caress my body...the choppiness as it hit my body, felt invigorating, I decided to just immerse myself in it. I wanted to get the total effect. It was very refreshing....at the moment it felt like I was in paradise,,,,some where all alone, yet I wasn't alone, there were plenty of people around me. I looked around and decided to go back and lie down and read my book for a while. A young man came by and sat by me and started talking. It turned out he was about my daghter's age and he worked in the area. Told me not to venture too far in the water because the undercurrents were bad...we spoke about the political situation on the Island. He seemed to be a very bright young man, told me he wanted to be a lawyer. By the time I finish the sun was setting and I asked the young man if he could take a picture of me and he did. I wanted a picture with the sun setting in the background. It looked beautiful, if I can I will bring the picture tomorrow. except I will bring the one without me

Lety your story's continuation is great, I'm enjoying all the very descriptive terms and getting the real feel as if I were there with you That young man sounded very interesting! I can't wait to see that picture!!! You should share the one of you in it...why not?? You are truly a beautiful women, inside and out!

hello everyone. I just wanted to come in before I went to bed.

Jenn...Oh how I wish that Joe and I could be there with you and Elliot on your special day. I have tears in my eyes when I think about it. I wanted to go so bad, but with all our bills we don't think we can do anything at the moment. I thought that the bills would be paid by now with the settlement, but they are taking so long! There still is time to say though, but I don't want to hold anyone place that is supossed to go. We would love to go and talk about it all the time. We do want you to know that we love you and will think of you on your day.

Leticia...I love your story about your trip. It is so beautiful the way you express everything. It brings me back as if I was there. I think that you should put the picture with you as well. I wish that I could go back to PR. One day I will and with my love. My dad brought back some pictures of our family and I can't believe what 9 years can do. My great uncles are so old and I don't think they will be there the next time I am in PR. My dad also told me what they are doing in Ponce and how eveyone has had to move. Our family has so much land there and the Government is supossed to give back the money, but no one has seen it yet. That is such a pitty. I bet it has changed to much.

JEN how are you love? I hope that all is well.. Its been so long I feel like maybe we are losing touch and I don't want that! I hope all is well with you and Joe and that your mom is happy and doing great! E-mail me sometime soon and catch me up on things! I'd love to hear from you!

I haven't much to do this weekend. Probably just sit home and relax tonight (Friday) since it is rainy cold and dreary out there. Who knows maybe I'll even come back on line at home.

Tomorrow I hope that the weather is nice so I can swim in our newly opened pool. I'd also like to do some yard work, plant flowers ect. So I hope that all is well with everyone and I just wanted to wish you all a nice weekend!

Hi there everyone. JUst wanted to come in and say good night, before I go to bed.

Things here are great, just working a lot and getting ready to go to NY in July. I can't wait! I am going with my love JOe and we are taking his kids as well. We will be staying with his dad in the Bronx, where I also have family and I will meet them for the first time. This will be something so special for me. I will tell you all about it when I get back.

Jenn my sister who I love so much...I won't stray from you mama. There is just so much going on and I actually have this letter that I was supossed to send you in April I think it was. I will send it with a new one. I hope you get to swim in that new pool of yours and enjoy yourself. I wish i has a nice pool to swim in. Ok, well I will call you Friday ok, so I love ya and I hope that you sleep good tonight.

To everyone, LOve you very much! We will have a PR festival this weekend. I will tell you about it later. The one we are going too is the one Joe and I met at last year. We also had one this past Sunday, but we didn't go to that one. Ok, I better get to sleep.

I have been busy again and therefore not coming in to finish my story about my experience in Puerto Rico. I will be entering in the next few days. I have finalize my studies and now should have some free time.

Glad to see everyone is doing well. Hopefully CJ finds his way back in.
