Thanks Jane Mas and Khuttar and Lorelei and Leticia G

Thank you all so much for everything,

I wish you could have met her in real life. Lol. Once I get someone with some technical savvy and my photo download is working again and my computer is working again properly I might be able to make a nice collage of Yautia in the future. She was definitely memorable and easy to talk to.

It is nice to be able to see the face of the people one interacts with at times. I liked L_F Miranda's face a lot----I think he was quite a good looking Puerto Rican Caballero in his younger days because in his older days he is still quite handsome! LOL. (He might not like me saying that though). It is the truth though.

Jane Mas is interesting and intelligent and full of life and she has the face of a fine Latin American lady as well. Hmmm. Leticia looks like a Taina Princess from the old petroglyphs.

How about that new archaeological site they just discovered in Ponce recently? It is impressive. You know what has made me very happy recently? Seeing more people with an ancient and classical face of the original peoples of the Mesoamerican civilizations and the Ancient African civilizations and the Asian civilizations and many are coming together and marrying each other and creating new and interesting lives. All of us are part of the human family.

Lots of love,

Suki

Thanks for the compliments. Hopefully your PC will be up and working soon. I will try to enter from time to time. My step father passed away and now I have more free time. My mom is in my care but is planning on going to Puerto Rico to live with my brother.

Cuidate siempre!

Hi Suki

I just now saw this post. I hardly visit anymore. My online life has become consumed with MySpace (so I can keep in contact with my young nieces and nephews on Guam) and with Yahoo 360 (where I keep a blog). So, I'm not up on the discussions here at all. Most of the old people that I used to have discussions with seemed to have moved on. Anyway, I would love to see that collage you plan on making. I came back because I got a newsletter from pr.com. It made me want to visit and see what the topics were. I see the politics forum is busy as always. It is an exciting election year, that's for sure.

I am busy with my work and when I'm not working, with the grandkids. Did I tell you there are 5 now? They age from 9 down to 18 months.

Well, good to see that you are well. Hello Leticia too!

Hi Lorelei!

I am glad to hear you are active. I have heard of MySpace and such. The only website I visit nowadays is this one. I don't have the time for the rest. If I went into facebook or MySpace and set up an account it would be an attraction. I try to only deal with this board and take a lot of breaks. Real life is more absorbing for me by far.

I heard of some website named "Second Life" where people lose their minds and create a whole 'second life' made of fantasy, where they get married, have parties, buy real estate, go shopping and live completely in some 'fantasy world' that is making the creators of the site rich. I think even people's first REAL life is being ignored and neglected because the fantasy life is taking over. It is ridiculous. People in the 'second life' supposedly do everything that regular folk do in real life but in a clean and fantastic world in which no one has to pay bills, work, smell each other's bad breath in the morning, argue about responsibilities and so on. In other words they 'buy' the thought of fantasy being more important than reality. Reality is a lot of real work. But in the real life Lorelei one has REAL relationships---with children, spouses, grandchildren, co-workers, friends and relatives and neighbors. Not fake relationships based on lies and fantasies. Fantasy has its place but it can never substitute hard work, and real efforts and will and principles and living a life with dignity and respect for people. That can never be replaced in a million years.

My printer ran out of ink. Lol. See that is reality for you!! I hope all the older posters may peek back. If not. I hope they are having fun in the new cyberspaces out there.

Leticia g's life has changed since her husband passed away. She is living a full life with a lot more freedom. I hope she is taking time out out to nurture herself.

I am going on vacation at the end of March. I will take off and leave behind every electronic device that rings or otherwise asks for my attention when I am not willing to give it. Lol.

Lots of greetings and fun for you Lorelei,

Suki
