My God son and son in law lost a Tio

Hi I am new on here . I have a God Son and my Son in Law and last Tuesday, they heard that a man that had been like an uncle to them had hung himself, they loved this man more than anything he was always the one who taught them anything they needed to learn.They only remember his name as being something like "Bertine" probaly not the correct spelling. A while ago he was working on roofing he fell through and broke his legs.I am only giving this information cause I need to find his real name to get a copy of his obituary so that I can have his picture(my daughter has one) put on it for the boys.I would appreciate any information.Sorry if this post twice
