Thumbs down Time to close this forum down!

Time for this site to close down this forum. There is no real good discussions and debate. Since joining I have not seen that many good debates based on facts, just opinions. There are only a few that participate and it seems to be just a dire-jala. I will not post here anymore since it is a waste of time. There are very little subjects on political substance that remotely is related to Puerto Rico's political situation or its problems. I am moving back to the island after this year, yeah...I am a islander. You so-call "Boricuas" are nothing but puchi-pluma na'ma!! In the short time that I came in I have noticed that the majority advocate for the islander's independence while living here in the states. Come down to the island and live there and then tell me if you want us to be free. I will continue to advocate for independence for the island in the island..sudando la gota gordo!!! Viva Puerto Rico libre y democratico..pero sin la ayuda de esos que son bla, bla y bla!

Here is a sustantive discussion for you. If you are going back to the island get your sayings in order before you get there.

It is "tira y jala" o "tirijala (also the name of a candy) in reality "tira y hala" not "dire-jala"

"buchi-pluma not "puchi-pluma"

"so called boricuas" not "so call boricuas"

not "very little subjects" but very few subjects"

"sudando la gota gorda" not "sudando la gota gordo"

"island independence" not "islander independence"

I believe I have never advocated for independence in this forum, since I don't live in the island and cannot vote there, so why do something like that. Actually I despise the ELA as many of you know and will accept the will of the puertorrican people on any political status but the statu quo. I will be willing to live there under either independence or statehood but not under the present colonial status.\

Good luck in your decision to live there!

This is just my opinion, no debate is necessary.

Well, my English is not that strong, but I try. I was just too tired to check my spelling and grammar, but you, who ever you are is just another example of elitist attitudes that many like us on the island have encounter when you and many like you come with your attitudes’ of superiority toward those that live on the island. You are absolutely correct. It is “tire y hala, but pronounced by those in the interior with a real Boricua accent as “tire-jala.” You are also correct when I should have typed gota gorda and buchi, not puchi…again I was too tired to check the spelling. But you know what? Who cares…you and the others in here except for Punkmaister can’t relate to US on the island.

OH, before I really leave Yujike..I never said you advocated for independence!! I was referring to those that do, but never lived or planned to live on the island. Lastly, it is status…not statu!!! See how we sometimes make mistakes when typing? Adios to all!!!

Ache, I sincerely apologize if I made you feel inferior in any way, it was not my intention. I have never been an elitist, Gosh, I'm considered a minority where I live and work, my skin is Taino dark not one of those blanquitos boricuas and I drive a freaking truck not a BMW. I know my "place" and it is certainly not in the company of the "elites". My comments were done "tongue-in-cheek", I even left the "statu" thing in there to show you that we are all human, prone to make mistakes. Darn it, I even wished you good luck in your endeavor!! If you want to know who I am, check my profile right here in this site, read it and you will know who I am, is not a big secret, and everything there is the truth. Again, I'm very sorry if I offended you and again wish you luck in your future enterprise.

No sean tan f..ing vagos y ponganse a trabajar, carajo.
