with all the problems in the world and in Puerto Rico ....why is this news?.............that's how low our media has gone........they rather report this crap then report in depth the problems in the public schools system in the island, the lack of books for the schools , the lack of teachers that are qualified and other problems.

I'm am not so convinced it is the media's fault; they are a business and at the end of the day if your paper [or nowawdays- your website] gets too serious about anything, readership falls like the anchor on a battleship; I am a cynic anyway, the average joe blow out here does not give a ship about much of anything. People walk past injured people because they are indifferent or are "scared to get involved"; turn that same situation around and let it be them as the victim or their loved one and then it becomes OUTRAGEOUS to them that no one helped them. REMEMBER KITTY GENOVESE and so many other victims of one kind or another who were ignored when they pleaded for help. That apathy and selfishness in this society has been with a price. Our elected representatives, or more accurately our elaborately placed representatives, are a mere reflection of the society, so why should there be such a high expectation of them. The only time they care is when their incumbency is threatend or the FBI is bashing in their door with a a sledge hammer and a fresh warrant in hand. Why not exposed this fanook Roberto Arango, burn him good and let it be done publicly. Maybe the next scrub will think twice about what they are doing.
