I can't deny that some Puerto Ricans are prejudice against whatever. I did state that. Prejudisim is found in all areas of life and all ethnicities. It isn't only a Latin thing. I have seen it among blacks as much as among Latins. The difference is that it is less apparent and the majority do intermix and accept other races. It only becomes a problem when the majority act a certain way.

Leticia and you're right, but many blacks are very unaware of the differences in mindset between so called black Hispanics and African Americans.
The color preference many AA's seem to have was pretty much based on conditioning during slavery. What people fail to realize is how much slavery destroyed the psyche of those it imprisoned. One can be made free physically, but one's psychological chains can extend from one generation to the next. We are not all together that different from one another, but then again, we are not the same either. I only hope that we can learn from one another and live in truth. Only then can one be FREE.
