Pzarican, usted tambien tiene la razon. Puerto Rico no esta listo para liberarse porque le tienen miedo al trabajo, mucho de ellos son vago y no le gusta trabajar, le gustan estar atenido a otros. There is absolutely no work ethics for most of them. But the ones that do are very dedicated like AJO said. Pero mira como de vago son que hasta el gobierno puertoriqueno le esta ofreciendo ayuda a los que cosechen cafe y azucar and they don't take advantage.

To Ajo, los que las companias ven en Puerto Rico no es al pueblo boricua si no the cheap labor. Unlike many other Latin America countries that can offer cheap labor, PR is civilized, americanized and that is why they are there. Mi hermano, ellos solo ven el dinero. If PR becomes a state, cheap labor will be more difficult to obtain due to federal government interefering and they will slowly leave. Why pay more shipping expenses if they will get the same labor in the mainland. Las tradiciones, cultira y idioma will gradually disappear, it is already. It won't affect us but it will affect our children. Para que hablarle de la isla del encanto si ya no va existir.
