"If you are referring to me, I NEVER SAID THE BOOK WAS GOOD! In fact some of the conclusions are WAY OUT. But it is refreshing to know that people are questioning the OFFICIAL government line, even though americans can't read it"

Ponce68, confusing chinas con botellas said:

"You said the following: "El libro de MEYSSAN ha causado sensacion en Francia, España y Alemania." this is why I stated that a member of this forum said that the book is good, and my friend you did! Regardless if you are going of the stories of the internet."

Oh boy, I did?

I think you have to refresh your English. "El libro ha causado sensacion en..........," does not mean the book is good. It is simply a best seller, but so are Corín Tellado's noveluchas and Danielle' Steel's wannabe novels.

Ponce68 questions:

"Now I do have one question, how is it that you know that this book is illegal in the U.S.? Did you go trying to buy it and the book store told you that the Government banned this book? Did you try going to several stores and since they did not have it in stock, you came up with this theory?"

Believe me THIS BOOK FINDS NO DISTRIBUTOR IN THE U.S.! In fact, Amazon.com has been trying to get distribution rights but it runs into government red tape, see Daily News article of last Tuesday.

Get a hold of Gore Vidal's book. He's had a heck of a time trying to distribute his book in the U.S. also.

Ponce68, incredulous that the U.S, government is trying to censure what people read thinks that what is happening with the French book is a figment of my imagination. It happens somewhere else but not in the U.S. of A.

Get a load of this..........

"There are plenty of movies and books in Europe and other places of the world that are very good yet never make it to the U.S. and it has nothing to do with being banned by the Gov. Just food for thought! [/b][/quote]"

How sure are you of that? You sound like a fotuto expousing the idea that Amnericans don't do such things. In fact I bet what is running through your mind is that the U.S. is the perfect Democracy, all others are evil and want to get rid of the one torch of freedom left on this planet. DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LOL

L_F Miranda,

So I can refresh my English as you recommended I would require for you to drop the id10t roll and get off the defensive wall that you have created! In the mean time look up the definition of "SENSACION" and maybe than you will understand that what you wrote was not what you possibly meant.

Now on to my question, which I can only guess that you think that I am second guessing you, when I am actually asking you a question. I would repeat my question a second time for a possible penetration and so that you may understand a question from a challenge, but it would do no good. Oh and by the way I am not the one here that thinks that the United States or any other country at that is the best or that they may have the best political system, since there is no country that is perfect. Then again I guess to is so beneeth your intelligence that is baffled you, its okay I am just a simple man trying to understand others and only hope that your hate, pain, problems, etc. may help me become a better person.

By the way if you do not like to be called names do not do it to others.

What is the id10t roll? Defensive wall? Leave the psycho-babble to me Ponce, and I asure you there is NO Wall. You are too high strung, laugh a little my boy life is too short, LOL.

"In the mean time look up the definition of "SENSACION" and maybe than you will understand that what you wrote was not what you possibly meant."

Ponce, I said, "El libro ha causado SENSACION en Francia , España y Alemania. I did not say, "El libro me causó SENSACION." No es lo mismo ni se escribe igual.

"Now on to my question, which I can only guess that you think that I am second guessing you, when I am actually asking you a question. I would repeat my question a second time for a possible penetration and so that you may understand a question from a challenge, but it would do no good."

Go ahead "penetrate" LOL

"Oh and by the way I am not the one here that thinks that the United States or any other country at that is the best or that they may have the best political system, since there is no country that is perfect."

You better keep those thoughts to yourself, El Jibaro might think you are a paid agent of the KGB.

"Then again I guess to is so beneeth your intelligence that is baffled you, its okay I am just a simple man trying to understand others and only hope that your hate, pain, problems, etc. may help me become a better person."

Look Ponce you've got it all wrong. You are a young man that is too high strung. You tend to think of yourself as tolerant and fair, but when your feathers are ruffled your "inner child" comes out.

You take things too personally my friend. Did I offend you?

"By the way if you do not like to be called names do not do it to others."[/END QUOTE]

Names? What do you mean?

Lightbulb Re: DID I OFFEND YOU?

L_F Miranda,

Let me set the record straight with you I will not leave anything but the babbling up to you! I never stated that you said the book caused you any kind of sensation, but what you did do is endorse this book, so you figure out what would that say to another person. Would this be considered that you are stating that something is good?
I am not your boy or anyone else's at that so be careful what words you choose! For a person that seems so intelligent you really show very little of yourself when you are addressing other people. By the way weak comments do not offend me but I will let anyone know what I do not like and if I show you respect you should have the decency to return it.
If you are trying out to become a psychic or something to that affect it is my recommendation that you keep the day job! Too high strung "NOT", My feathers ruffled "NOT" and concerning the "inner child" I would recommend that you look in yourself and find it, because in all reality you sound like you have lost touch with it.
When and if "El Jibaro" has a problem with what I am saying I think that he will be the first to let me know what that is. We already know that we do not see the U.S. the same way, but do not think for one second that I do not love the country, which I hold and defend its citizenship, but I can see that she is not perfect, or the best country in this world.
If you need help to figuring out what you say, then you should not speak unless you think thoroughly what it is that you are about to say. I must admit that you have proven me wrong, I thought that you were a person worthy to debate with, but hey no one is perfect and that goes for me too.

Anda pal sirete, Ponce está encojonao........

"I never stated that you said the book caused you any kind of sensation, but what you did do is endorse this book, so you figure out what would that say to another person. Would this be considered that you are stating that something is good?"

Now you are setting the record straight. Yes I did endorse it. Not because it was a good book but because it DARED to present a different view from the package that we are supposed to believe in. MORE WILL COME!

"I am not your boy or anyone else's at that so be careful what words you choose!"

Ave Maria muchacho(boy) you sure are sensitive. Have you been around American Blacks lately? The word Boy among them is an insult. That is not what I meant......

"For a person that seems so intelligent you really show very little of yourself when you are addressing other people. By the way weak comments do not offend me but I will let anyone know what I do not like and if I show you respect you should have the decency to return it."

¡Vale!

If you are trying out to become a psychic or something to that affect it is my recommendation that you keep the day job!

Day Job?

You said it, if I were in touch with my inner child I would be pushing Statehood on this board. I grew up a long time ago and left the Disney World conclusions to those that dwell in perpetual fantasy.

Lightbulb IGNORANCE IS ONE THING...

L_F Miranda,

But you are just plain STUPID! What does black Americans have to do with you showing some respect? I guess that is too much for you to comprehend, so I will let you be in your state of debatical ignorance and continue to learn from those that have something to share. Talk your trash but remember the old saying NO JUEGES CON MIERD@, POR TE VAS A ENSUCIAR! And this my friend is why I shall leave you be.

Ponce as you should know "Boy" is a derogatory term when referring to African Americans. They are very SENSITIVE when it is used and consider it a lack of respect. Since I assume you don't identify with African Americans, Why does the term Boy=muchacho make your blood boil?

"NO JUEGES CON MIERD@, POR TE VAS A ENSUCIAR![/b] And this my friend is why I shall leave you be."[/ END QUOTE]

¡EA rayos! you mean business. LOL Ok Ok lets get back to politics and if you don't like what I write pass it on, O.K.
