Lightbulb No wonder several of the independentistas here belong to the ARMY-NAVY...

In the months following SEPTEMBER 11,2001 there have been at least two Military aircraft crashes, a couple of military personnel are killed by "criminals" and now a very reliable Claymore mine claims the life of a SPECIAL FORCES Captain makes it obvious that the clown brigade of the Macheteros is in full fledged deployment. One real possiblity, shown by the "5_PERCENTER" John Allen Muhammad is that the Macheteros have several of their members right inside the U.S. ARMED FORCES; talk about a TROJAN HORSE ...

By FRANK GRIFFITHS, Associated Press Writer

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - A U.S. soldier who suffered a head injury in a land mine explosion has died after being taken off of life support, a military official said.

Capt. Adam Kocheran, 31, of Columbus, Ohio, was one of three special forces troops injured by the mine blast Thursday during routine training exercises. Doctors on Sunday said the serious head wound had rendered him brain dead, prompting his family to remove him from life support Sunday night, said Lt. Col. Nicolas Britto, an Army spokesman.

The two other soldiers — Sgt. 1st Class Amil Alvarez, 32, of Santurce, Puerto Rico, and Chief Warrant Officer Christopher Brautigam, 35, of Burlingame, Calif. — were treated at hospitals for shrapnel wounds and released on Thursday.

The three were involved in "routine training" when the Claymore mine exploded at Camp Santiago in southeastern Puerto Rico, officials have said. An investigation is continuing to determine the accident's cause, Britto said.

Claymore mines are small, brick-shaped devices that can be placed on the ground or mounted on a wall. When remotely detonated, they explode in one direction, hurling hundreds of metal pieces in an arc.

The three are from the U.S. Army Special Operations Command South, which is based at nearby Roosevelt Roads Naval Station.

Camp Santiago is located on the southern side of the Caribbean island near the city of Salinas. The training camp is administered by the National Guard but is used by various U.S. armed forces.

El_Jibaro, you should not use tragedies happened to our Armed Forces troops to support your sarcasm and dark humor.

I served 15 years in the US Army and currently are serving in the State Defense Force under the Virginia Department of Military Affairs, so I am military.

I don't find amuzing playing with articles like that.

For your information in case you don't know, Puerto Rico holds the higher number of members of the Armed Forces in comparison to any of the 50 states of the union and other territories.

As you may know, the PPD and PNP value the absentee votes from Boricuas serving the Armed Forces outside Puerto Rico, because they get lots of votes.

So, what that tell you?

Once again, using articles like that to support your jokes is not amuzing.
