ALL IN THE BAG
"We are a Caribbean-Latin American country, proud of its permanent association with the United States and that is why the Senate has the responsibility to forge parliamentary relationships with other nations of the world, to exchange ideas that would enable us to be part of the globalization trend and other economic tendencies," said Puerto Rico Senate President Antonio Fas Alzamora, on the U.S. territory working to increase independent relations with Latin American countries. Senate Majority Leader Kenneth McClintock accused Fas Alzamora of treating the U.S. territory as if it were a republic. Fas Alzamora rejected his claim and said he is interested in preventing Puerto Rico from 'falling behind in the globalization trend and to help the island serve as a bridge between Latin America and the United States.' Now, why wont they allow us to grow independent economically? Is it fear that we will see that we can exist on our own? |

Yes it is fear and more..
In the end the United states is a corporation, that is one giant monster that is ready to swallow everything whole. They don’t care about no ones interest but their own. You see that, I see that. Yet how many others see it? Sure they can say this or that, what I am saying isn't true. The same old arguements with little substance. I don’t know, yet those that are blind are the ones I pity..
