Vamonos Pal Monte- Quel Monte Me Gusta Ma

Conciencia-

Know what I'm saying soldier?.

Dominicans know what puertorricans either don't know or ignore: Puertorricans have no control over the affairs of their own island( yes, including inmigration). The gringos are in control, so Dominicans don't give a rat's ass about what boricuas think or do.The Cubans already proved this theory when Nixon welcomed them to PR with SECURED loans to start their own businesess. It is not hate, it is envy.

God forbid Puerto Rico become a state, then every stray dog from Latin America will end up at our shores.
And drkid you are attempting to make it a racial issue but the fact is we dont want Dominicans there no matter what race they are Puerto Rico does not need any refugees running around adding to the islands problems.
DOMINICANOS STAY HOME!!!
"BRAVO!!! COULD NOT HAVE SAID IT ANY BETTER MYSELF!!!

I was born in Puerto Rico and raised between PR and NYC. Puerto Rico has enough problems without having to deal with the additional burden of illegal immigants. I go to Puerto Rico twice per year. Aside from Dominicans, I've met Mexicans, Cubans, Ecuadoreans, Anglo-Americans, and Brits who live there and have no plans whatsoever to leave.

There are nearly 3 million people packed into the island. The place is starting to remind me of those busses in India packed with so many people that some are hagging off the sides. One of the greatest challenges of living in a densely populated island is one that has yet to be addressed by the Puerto Rican government. The management of solid waste (i.e., garbage) is an enormous challenge on a continent, and it's exponetially greater on a tiny island with almost 3 million persons, most of whom have high purchasing capability. Sadly, the government has ignored this problem since it was first addressed in 1988.

Obviously the kid who started this thread is nothing more than that, a kid with an idealist mentality who has yet to be grounded by the realities of life. As far as I'm concerned, every illegal immigrant on the island should be sent back to their country of origin on their own dime!!!!

One can wish and fantasize all we want but , its time to come to reality!

WE CAN'T DO A DAMN THING ABOUT DOMINICANS, only complain!

They'll be coming whether we like it or not. They'll be adding to the numbers of Statehooders, because once in Puerto Rico they want an IN on the gravy train. In fact , they don't even have to learn English like they do in New York.

Because they've lived in a independent country, they come with a different psyche than Puerto Ricans who have been dependent for 110 years. They have had to struggle, and in the process have become AGRESSIVE! They are agressive politically and savy, thats why they are taking away political control from Puerto Ricans in New York.

In New York they've out sripped Puerto Ricans in College attendence, even though their grades are inferior. Puerto Ricans aspire to, do nothing jobs, like door men or garbage men, where they don't have to use too much thinking. On the other hand , Dominicans aspire to jobs that need college education , like Teachers, workers in Banks and politics, jobs that influence people.

In Puerto Rico, if left to do what they want , they'll have political representatives looking after their needs only, once they are given the citizenship that is coming down the pike with Obama's immigrant reform.

So what the use of moaning and whinning, we just have to grin and bear, it like the good "agradecido" colonials we've always been. .

Well said Don Clip! Once an eñangotao, always an eñangotao.

But, alas, let’s not boricuas in the U.S. criticize Puerto Rico in any way and they go after your neck and make you feel less than a boricua.. You saw it here with the Punkmeister; while domincanos take the country away, they take in on us, like we have no right to criticize or contribute our 2 cents to the discussion. The puertorrican diasphora is bigger than the P.R. population, we do have a voice in puertorrican affairs, it is still our country.

My Puerto Rican. Could get rid of the dominicans who come to my peoples island.. all we have to do is send them back and de bar the ones that are there.... if they refuse leave them in the middle of the atlantic with a boat.... seriously, my rican people tolerate to much immigration with them... if I was their leader id be harsh on laws get em out my country.... if we want to decrease and get rid of the dominicans from the motherland just become more strict on immigration.
