I don't care what the poll said, I am voting for Bush even if he gets -1% on any poll.

Janey you must be posting while your are DRUNK! Your job as a social worker at a Catholic Charities must be very stressful for you. Really, I don't care about you...whether you are religionist or confused. That's your problem not mine. Most of your posts are getting more incoherent with each post. And your comments at the end of your post is your signature, all about nutcases. And I think birds of a feather flock together, and you and Rican both fly crooked as all hell. Keep it up Janey, and you will be swinging from vine to vine on your own; you have gone ape already..too bad sista since there is Alcoholics Anonymous that could have helped you with your booze addiction. Vete pa'l sirete!

Okay, you got a mega problem. You are a bible reading person, but unlike the Bible Belt Protestants declare yourself uncommitted to anything religious..not religionist you declare. No faith in a "god" seems present, but yet you aren't either agnostic or atheist, or is it that you are not ready to admit that, because there is a glimmer of believe on the horizon?

One thing I know for sure that by turning to a Troll like Another Rican, you will only compound your mega problem and with interest. Instead have you ever read about Bill W. the founder of A.A.? If you're interested make a search by typing in Alcoholic's Anonymous, and it will give you the current URL of its web site. I think they have a discussion forum there where you can discuss with them with all candor.

In their organization, they pay the token to the Bible, too, but without any commitments necessary on the part of their members to be religious in any way, shape, nor form. So you can read what you want...no sweat, and still benefit from their guardianship type of program. You feel that you can't cope, for example, all you got to do is give them a call, and a couple of them, usually a man and a woman will come to your home, and sit down with you and discuss what was their problem once, too. For starters, that ain't bad. I am optimistic that it will help you lots. Anyway, give it a whirl if you need it, and perhaps it will be better than nothing.

Well back to politics, since this is a forum for Puerto Rican politics and one that can make any sensible person quite tired discussing and/or arguing politics with emotionally volatile Puertorriquenos. A word to the wise is sufficient..."hic*cup!", eh.

Jane,

I agree that many polls are biased. I took a doctoral class on surveys/polls and you are correct, those can be manipulated. That is why the best polls are those where the questions, the target population, and the results are open for scrutiny by peers or professional statisticians. Some polls are reputable for the track record of integrity in how they are done over the years. Take Gallup polls... they are well respected.

The interesting thing here is that the Newsweek organization is left of center consistently. Why would they skew the results when their favorite candidate is not Bush?

By the way, I am amused by your quotes at the end. Are you an atheist? I have not met too many athiests who aren't in it because they aren't angry at some authority figure in their lives. I have found that those who are genuine atheists (not agnostics) have an addiction. Perhaps you are just an agnostic which I can understand and accept more easily than an atheist who parrots atheist teachings and dogma.

Have a great day!
Hey AnotherRican:

They call it the
SUCKER PUNCH, or the ROPE A DOPE.

The reason why a
LEFTIST institution would exaggerate a Pre-Presidential-Election Poll is so that when the real Pre-Presidential-Election Polls come in, the American voter would get the impression that BUSH is somehow losing the BOUNCE super-quickly. Remember, MALICE is what LEFTIST SCHEMES are all about.

So, if a
LEFTIST institution like Newsweek says that BUSH got a BOUNCE of 11 Points, a REAL BOUNCE Number will be 6.5 Points . Not bad, considering that Newsweek gave Kerry only a Bounce of 3 Points .

Now, why is this place so full of
Cloaka Monsters?
