I think he wrote it to get attention. I still think he is disgusted with his life. I do not understand why he lives in a town that he states sucks? He can always move to another one or somewhere else. Anyway, you can always refute his ranting on his blog.

Oh, like Poesía bajo las estrellas is mainstream in Puerto Rico. Damn, wherever did I get the idea that people rush home from work to watch garbage like Gata Salvaje when it was on TV instead of Poesia bajo las estrellas?

And why speculate where I am from? Just ask me, here, or like someone suggested refute me on my BLOG, by all means.

For those who are wondering and cooking conspiracies (which seems to be Puerto Ricans' ultimate hobby), here's who I really am:

You are confused. Like Puerto Ricans in PR never seen a computer in their life Hey my brother and I loved La Playa de Naguabo...and always wanted to live there. Summers every year was like paradise, but we stopped going for years. He returned to La Playa with an old dream, but returned within months. Parts of Puerto Rico is infested with Manteca, high crime and yes like you said lousy tv shows, but there is much more to PR than that. Besides TV addicts should do something positive other than sit on a couch all day. Life in PR is not all bad, it depends where you live, what you CHOOSE to watch on tv, where you go on social evenings, etc. That does not mean the mentality of your average PR has a fried brain. The universities still produce great minds, and many towns have wonderful people. What needs to happen is a drastic change from the people that will penetrate the politicians seat. In the meantime Philly is CRIME CITY!

No, you are confused. In the early 80s, computers in Puerto Ricos classrooms did not exist. In 1994 access to the Internet was a long distance dial-up phone call from most of the island. I know because I was here when the Internet was open to non academics.

I have been into computers since the early 80s, that is what I meant. Had I not gone into computers at an early age I would not have become a computer programmer. I doubt I would even own one today.

So why talk in the present about the past?

That paragraph was badly worded, I rewrote the last few sentences. It should convey the meaning I had in mind much better.

ok I'll re-read

Now how did you edit that after the 3 day deadline?

I see what you mean and yes there is much garbage on tv, but there are few good shows about the island and it's culture. Who's to blame? Where is the money coming from? It wasn't always like that. I remember enjoying watching tv in PR during my summer visits. I've read article protesting the garbage on tv, but no one demands better shows. As long as they watch it..it will continue. Sabado Gigante is total garbage. As for the pc world Fulano has just spoken. He's right in the 80's pc was in it's infancy.
