I understand that you might admire Florida Cubans with their fixation on an old discredited second rate dictator, but what do YOU as a Puerto Rican have to do with their obsession?

The only ones who are still pushing the Communist line are Cubans who still live in 1955 when the Tropicana night club was their cultural hangout and pride.

I guess the problem is that we Puerto Ricans are continously COLONIZED by others. If not by poor Blacks, with their ghetto styles, its by Cubans with their 1955 mambo, gaudy styles and an obsession with Communists about to conquer the world.

If you really think of yourself as a 100% American then join your fellow Gringos who have dropped Communism conspiricy theories a long time ago.

Miranda, people think the cold war is over but when you look at Chavez, Fidel, Evo, N. Korea, and China, the chapter is still not over though you may think so.

Then there are many professors who indoctrinated the youth during the last few decades to think that Collectivism, Socialism, and Socialistic Democracies are OK. These are just repackaging of Commie thinking. Univesity educators who are stuck in the sixties and journalistic elitists still praise Socialism, Marxism, etc. No, Communism is not dead. WE have organizations like the UN full of thugs, despots, dictators, that want to see the demise of the USA to a third world power, if not totally destroyed. China, has gone public that they are still bent on world domination.

So you think the Cold War is over? In once sence (USSR) it is but already, Chavez, Fidel, and Evo have plans to expand their thinking along with China. Go ahead and be an ostrich.

Did you see the news today that indicate that Bush LOVED the Spanish Anthem so much that he featured it in his 2000 Presidential campaign and had Jon Secada sing America the Beautiful, also in Spanish at the White House right after his inauguration?? Sure, then he needed the hispanic vote ( and he did get the most hispanics votes ever by a republican candidate) and the Spanish Anthem was a nice way to attract hispanics, just like his fake Spanish. Now he does not need us as a sitting duck and says that it should be sung in English. I hope hispanics will not make the same mistake twice.
