Come on !!!

English is not that bad to learn. Spanish is harder and all the Boricuas already know it.

Let's learn English an expand our way to communicate with the rest of the world.

A funny thing that happen to me many times s I get Americans (US born citizens) asking me how to spell something in English.

I tell tell them "You know, English is my third language and is your only language; you should learn more about it".

Nacionalista, I'm a good English speller too, like many Spanish speaking people. You know why, because we spell phonetically from the Spanish and apply it to the English spelling which as you know is pronounced differently from the way it is written. Ben Franklin wanted to make American English a phonetically based language but did not prevail upon the rest of the Founding Fathers. That is why English is the only language with Spelling Bees!!!!

Well, I talk by experience. Spanish still won't get you around the whole world.

You need to know English to complete 80% of the trip.

Don't take me wrong, I love my Spanish. If just the rest of the world understand English.

And if you want to make business with the the world representing the new Puertorican republic; you better know English.

That is a true fact I faced in the last 15 months while overseas.

You don't have to agree with it, you undertstand my point.
