If this is ultimately a contest of race, then let's be proud , raise the chin, break old taboos, get the house in order and be Americans first and foremost.
That election was stolen both times, and when caught was given to him by the supreme court. Never believe the polls which are meant to keep lazy bums employed in an easy job to cover up a successful theft of the presidency. Polling is not a science it is an art as is the casino on wall st. Now that it is evident Obama's crowds continue to be 10 times bigger than McCain's who has to bus entire schools to his rally's. And some of the GOP crooks who been arrested in CA and stopped in other states from voter fraud as well as voter suppression, now that it is evident, the polls are forced to reflect what the media sees. The margin is actually wider, but no one nor any poll knows exactly what that is.

Jane I harbor the same fears. The Supreme Court was supposed to rule on FLORIDA'S ELECTION LAWS and ended up giving the election to the republicans, which was completely out of their mandate and where do you go for redress when the SC does you wrong?

Its amazing that at this point of the election process, and with all the hoopla of the polls going for Obama, there are still those who at skeptical.

Utra Liberal MSNBC talk show host Rachel Maddow wonders if things can still turn for McCain. CNN's Campbell Brown was running a piece on the poor showing of youth at the voting booths. No-nonsense rabble rouser Bill Maher is another skeptic. Last night he gave the impression that we shouldn't be so sure of the outcome. He said we should be CAUTIOUS of that poor white trash vote who doesn't talk to pollsters. Today's NY Times Bob Herbert also brought out doubts. "Its a toss up between the ECONOMY AND RACE", that is what is at stake here he said. Will whites pick race or the economy and Sarah Palin?

If Obama looses this one we might as well settle down to mediocrity and just pray McCain doesn't kick the bucket before 2012.

They have to pass that bill which is sitting in the house since June. Republicans don't want to pass it because it will prevent them from cheating. Once Obama gets elected... I KNOW HE WILL, the numbers are on our side and if the machines flip again there will be a real legal battle that will force the Supreme Court to not contribute to theft of the presidency.

He tells the members how he was hired by Congressman Tom Feeney in 2000 to build a prototype software package that would secretly rig an election to sway the result 51 / 49 to a specified side. He explains that it would be undetectable and only takes 100 lines of code to implement, watch it and then think about where your vote is really going Visit hack247 » Maintenance Mode for the latest in technology related news, videos and links"

Miranda it is the economy stupid!! HAHA

Miranda,
I live in a place in which 75% of the registered voters voted democratic. And also a place in which the majority of the voters are newly minted American immigrants and old Chicano families. Most of them voted democratic with Obama. Why? Because their job loss is a huge issue and the old republicans with bullcrap about how they 'understand' what the working people go through is seen for what it is....a lot of lies. And they vote accordingly. The bottom line for most people are bread and butter issues and they aren't that married to old racist paradigms anymore. This is the dawning of a new age in American politics.....and it doesn't fit the stupid ideals of the old Republican party machine of white evangelicals and old rich white guys anymore. They are gonna have to change or lose all the elections in the next 12 years at least.

Yesterday's election results proved that when you don't deal with bread and butter economic issues with regular working and middle class voters you get beat in the ballot box. They aint going for the old stupid white rich dude excuses anymore....it is about that Jerry Maguire line "SHOW ME THE MONEY DUMBELL!!" or lose the vote. HAHA.

Hi Suki! Your state went blue! Hurray! So did NM and Florida! Thanks to the Ricans in Tampa and Orlando, plus 3 generation Cubans Florida went blue! Suki search for a thread called MONEY OUT OF THIN AIR and watch the documentary!

P.S. Andrew Young was on Colbert and said, "The country was so messed up that's why they gave it to the blacks to run!" lol
