Cool

Hey Mikey Cordero, what did I tell you?! This was the ACT I was waiting to happen! This kind of VIOLENCE is going to fall on the Puerto Rican People living in Puerto Rico like a cold water bucket , and not one for sympathy towards the PIP . Only hardened independentistas love political VIOLENCE , while the rest of the LAW-ABIDING Puerto Ricans are going to withdraw their support to the "Ni Una Bomba Mas!" crowd [which was independentista to begin with]. I am changing my bet from 50 cents against the PIP gaining adherents in the Next Elections to 2 Dollars. Mark my words Mikey, in last Elections 3.8% of the vote went PIP, but now you will probably lose from half a percent to fully more than one percent in Next Elections with this kind of shennannigans . My FORECAST: Next Elections PIP 2.5% !!!

Hey Boricua-in-US, what did I tell you?! These independentistas are DUM ; they are so fanatic and irrational that they think that actually provoking political VIOLENCE will sway Puerto Rican opinion in their favor . Even their stateside "saint", Billy Clinton , has some respect for opinion polls. This is a bright day for the Estadista Cause !!!

Hey Mr. Ed, you have just made my day ! A million thanks !!!

I BELIEVE YOU ARE WRONG THE MAJORITY
OF PUERTO RICANS WANT THE NAVY OUT
REGARDLESS OF POLITICAL AFFILIATION
PLUS THE FACT THAT A RECENT POLL DONE
BY THE DIOCESIS DE CAGUAS SHOWS THAT
88.5% OF VIEQUENSES WANT THE NAVY TO
LEAVE IMMEDIATELY,THIS INCIDENT SHOWS
THE FRUSTRATION THE PEOPLE FEEL,SADLY
I THINK IT WILL GET WORSE BEFORE THIS
ENDS,SPECIALLY WHEN THE NAVY DOES NOT
WANT TO LEAVE,SEN.LOTT STATED THEY WANT
TO BUY THE ISLAND,WHICH DOES NOT SUPRISE
ME SINCE THE ADMINISTRATION ARE SUCH
SELLOUTS,I AM SUPRISED THAT YOU SAY THAT
CLINTON IS PRO-INDEPENDENCE COME ON,HE IS
THE MOST PRO-STATEHOOD PRES.I HAVE YET SEEN
THE REPUBLICANS ARE NOT PRO-STATEHOOD BUT
THATS MY OPINION,THE BEST THING THAT COULD
HAPPEN TO THE ESTADISTA CAUSE WOULD BE FOR
THEM TO RID THEMSELVES OF CORRUPT POLITICIANS
BUT THEN THEY WOULD HAVE NO P.N.P.

Observable Facts and Deductive Reasoning show Clinton supports PR independence:

Observable Fact 1 - He gave the Gonzalez Family 4 months before he sent in the goon-squad to take out Elian.

Observable Fact 2 - He gave the Vieques "Clown Patrol" a little over a year to protest the Navy before sending in the police, and then only because he had sent in the goon-squad to take out Elian, since it would have been TOO OBVIOUS he favored the Vieques "Clown Patrol".

Deductive Reasoning 1 - I personally believe he is a Southern Racist, and if it is so, HE FAVORS KICKING PUERTO RICO OUT of the USA.

BRO,ROSELLO IS CLINTON'S BOY,I DO BELIEVE
THERE ARE FAR MORE SOUTHERN RACSIST IN
THE G.O.P. THAN IN THE BLEEDING HEART
DEMOCRATIC PARTY,I PERSONALLY WANT AND
WILL VOTE FOR THE G.O.P.,I KNOW STATEHOOD
IS ONLY A DREAM WITH THEM IN POWER.

This was more than an act of frustration; I do think it was not only a response of self-defense by the Viequenses who knew very well that the Navy was intentionally bombing the area while having prior information that there were pacifists still hidden in the target area. But it was also a revolutionary action in that they had their launches armed with crowbars and other pieces of metal and attacked the Marines in particular.
(This reminds me of the battle of Lexington and Concord somewhat when the local militia, then dubbed the minutemen, attacked the British troops that were on the march. This was officially the beginning of the American Revolution.)
The latest bombings of the Navy showed clearly that the American military have no respect for the lives of the Viequenses. And the contingent of Viequenses who attacked the Marines realized that as never before; and therefore they were responsible for the PRIMER ACTO REVOLUCIONARIO IN VIEQUES.
There is nothing really fanatical nor indicative of liking violence in what they did. They have patiently waited for years and years, and when this all came to a head over the past year, the violent and disrespectful resumption of the bombings caused the Viequenses to take rational and civic action, which in this case developed into the first revolutionary action they have ever taken to free themselves from the evil that they have been oppressed, exploited, and been forced to endure for over half a century.
Because of this I say that REASON AND JUSTICE ARE ON THE SIDE OF THE HEROIC VIEQUENSES, AND MAY THEIR CAUSE BE VICTORIOUS IN OUSTING THE U.S.NAVY FROM THEIR ISLA NENA!!!

Criollo,

You may be right that this violence will may the majority of P.Ricans away from "Ni una Bomba mas" I do not feel this way but what may be happening is that more and more people will be getting hurt and this regardless of the sides or views is very sorry. I just can not believe that individuals would call this a first revolution act, does anyone really believe that this will continue to happen without a response? who will be the ones to lose the most? The people of Puerto Rico will be the ones to make a decision on this and I can only hope that it is a majority and not a bunch of hudlums.
