Firstly, he was tried in the WRONG FORUM because the federal courts' criminal jurisdiction is LIMITED to those LISTED in the Constitution - murder or destruction of federal property are NOT included:

"The Constitution of the United States [has] delegated to Congress a power to punish treason, counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States, piracies and felonies committed on the high seas, and offences against the law of nations, and no other crimes whatsoever... It [is] true as a general principle, and one of the amendments to the Constitution [has] also declared, that "the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively or to the people." Therefore,... [all] acts which assume to create, define, or punish crimes other than those so enumerated in the Constitution are altogether void and of no force... The power to create, define, and punish such other crimes is reserved, and of right appertains solely and exclusively to the respective States, each within its own territory." --Thomas Jefferson: Draft Kentucky Resolutions, 1798. ME 17:380

2. They appointed an attorney who was being paid by FEDERAL FUNDS -

It is well known that APPOINTED attorneys will NOT jeopardize FUTURE appointments by mounting aggressive defenses.

3. They refused him a jury of his peers; instead they obtained a jury likely to convict - federal government employees and other dependents on federal largesse .

You know that when they tried John Gotti the government went to great lenghts to ensure that not ONE SINGLE juror was on the Mafia's payroll. But here the issue of jury IMPARTIALITY was IRRELEVANT!!!!!!

Conciencia US Elections

>>>>>"Let me just say that for the first time the election of US President was totally dependent and elected by the Supreme Courts..."<<<<<<

The Elections were dependent in the sense that the USSC had to REVERSE the Florida's Supreme Court's USURPATION of power. The power to elect members of the Electoral College lies with the FLORIDA LEGISLATURE NOT with the Court.

So what is your real point, Contu_Macious? Do you believe that Timothy McVeigh is innocent of killing those people in Oklahoma?

So why don't you and his other loyal followers get him a private lawyer and go through the appeal process?

In order to mount a proper defense, a la O.J. , you are looking at 8-10 million dollars.

The Federal Government has demonized - character assassinated, if you will - this individual to such extent that collecting a sufficient amount is next to impossible.
Any contributor will be accussed of approving the act which Mr. McVeigh is accussed of having perpetrated.

Congress assigns UNLIMITED funds to the prosecutors, yet a very tight budget for the defense - no wonder there is such a high "conviction" rate in the federal courts !!!!!
