Cool

My brother, just look around, there are smaller country then PR and they are doing just fine. They’re other countries the same size as PR including Israel and they are doing fine. Believe me, US won't let PR
Economy die. You got the World Bank,
And etc. This is the same thing that the PNP always try, to put fear into our people. Believe me, PR would be just fine as a free country.

This is the typical vendepatria only worried
about money,he would probably sell his own
family in order to get a buck, this is the
type of welfare mentality that the PNP likes
to cultivate among the ignorant like Chuckie
Romero Barcelo says "Statehood is for the
poor" they want people to sellout for welfare.

Lenny,
I would like to change the welfare mentality
that you vendepatrias have, all you people
all you statehooders can talk about is we
will loose our U.S. help, you have a defeatist
attitude that we can't go at it on our own,
so you sell out,and go around begging the
U.S. govt. for handouts, you beg for P.R. to
become a state, vendepatrias have screwed up
the island so bad that they have reduced an
industrious people into beggars who are
afraid to govern themselves,vendepatrias
are corrupt and like to steal those handouts.
People have to stand up for themselves with
dignity,and democracy,and hard work,unlike
the vendepatria version of democracy that
only means stealing,begging,discrimnating
and corruption,thats what I would like,just
to go back to our Puertorican values that
at one time taught us the right way.
p.s. I know your going to say that you are
not a statehooder but I remember a posting
in which you state that you want P.R. to be
a commonwealth like Pennsylvania or Virginia
Hello?they are states commonwealth is just a
title,that makes you a statehooder.

If independence doesnt signify freedom then what does it mean to you? The dictionary clearly states that it is the condition of being FREE from control and influence. Certain people that are similar to you have kept us back because they werent motivated by the principles and values that one should naturally hold most dear but to that of $$$.. And that is what it all balls down to.. The main reason why statehooders endorse that status is for better economical standing or more $$$$$.. But speaking from my point of view there are more important things.. True we need it to survive but there are things that hold a greater worth and to me that is my freedom. Disagree if you may but that is my position on the subject.--- Another thing.. who here has not suffered for what they trully desired but in the end wasnt it worth it all? Struggle is part of life.. and with the right tools.. although we may not be able to avoid it.. we surely may be able to lessen the impact.
