Sorry, but PR is a nation and would always be. Is true, we don't have a president of our own but we could have one. Yes, we need a leader to move us there. But why is PR a nation. Just look at it. All those beautiful towns, all those beautiful natural birds and etc. In this coming election our people would vote in a different way. I go out there and see more and more people taking down their PNP flags. I once believe in state hood but not any more, thanks God.

Yes, PR couldmake it now. So, let do it.
If not than we have to take it to the American people by saying the following: Maybe it should go this way? Save billion of dollars right now! How? Just call your congresman and tell them to free Puerto Rico once and for all. A land taken by force has the right to be free not divided. |

This is for El_Criollo:
A similar question is why are many Puerto Ricans afraid of happiness and success? Perhaps because we are used to failure and misery? ------------------ desde_el_Jurutungo_de_Bairoa Many other Puerto Ricans and I are not used to failure and misery. You making look like the whole nation of PR are misery people. You forgot the we got this from the Spanish Crown. Look at our other brother nations. Example, when people came to this country they came with money and the power was from below not from the top. In our Spanish ways, the poor came and left taking gold. PR has been with US now for a 100yr and is changing this way of life style. So don't blame PR blames the Spanish history. With this, our people soon will open there eyes and will vote for freedom to our true nation, Puerto Rico. |
