Cool

I believe that the only way to fix the Puerto Rico problem is to take it to the
American people. What do you think?

I am neither for statehood or independence. However, Mike Cordero, you make some really illogical comments. Let us look at Hawaii for a minute. Hawaii became a state roughly fifty years ago. Not only did Hawaii keep it's alphabet and language, it still recognizes the holidays and cultural events that they did before statehood. True, english is an official language, but so is thier original tongue.

Juan, then why is that native Hawaiians
want to regain their independence,did
you know that the U.S.govt. issued an
official apology for the ilegal way
it took the islands, that on the centenial
of the U.S. takeover the governor of
Hawaii John Waihee ordered that U.S.flags
not be flown over any state buildings for
five days.
So when you mention Hawaiians, you must consider the native people, who are not happy
with the current status of being a minority
in their own land.
