Independentista leaders themselves said recently at the Grito de Lares celebrations that the PPD favors PERMANENT UNION over anything else, and that it is because this that the Statehood has gained ADHERENTS in the last 30 years ; this was reported a couple of weeks ago in the "El Nuevo Dia", which nowadays sympathizes more the independentista thought than even Claridad. Either YOU know more than the independentista leadership or they know something you don't .

I respect your stand but I must say that you are contradicting yourself since you have served in the U.S. Navy before. You may not feel american now but that still does not change the truth, but hey, that is part of the U.S. you can be, feel, etc whatever you want.
