Question

I believe that the only way to fix the Puerto Rico problem is to take it to the
American people. What do you think?

FROM THE BLOODY HANDS OF THAT CORRUPT PERSON
NAMED CARLOS ROMERO BARCELO,CAME A SMALL
LITERARY TREASURE CALLED"LA ESTADIDAD ES PARA
LOS POBRES"IN WHICH HE OUTLINES HIS PLAN TO
TURN PUERTO RICO INTO THE BIGGEST WELFARE
STATE OF THE UNION,HE DOES THIS WHILE HE
STATES IN A NOBLE MANNER OUR CULTURE AND
LANGUAGE ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE,TWO COUNTRIES
UNDER ONE FLAG,NOW FOR THE COST,IT WOULD COST
THE U.S. 1 TO 2 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR JUST
FOR TRANSLATIONS,THIS COST IS BASED ON THE
CANADIAN COST FOR QUEBEC,PUERTO RICO STANDS TO LOOSE 50,000 TO 100,000 JOBS AS A RESULT
OF STATEHOOD THIS IS FROM THE C.B.O.,THE
C.B.O. GOES ON TO SAY THAT IT WILL COST
AN ADDITIONAL 9.4 BILLION DOLLARS JUST IN
THE FIRST FOUR YEARS TO COMPENSATE FOR THE
LOST JOBS AND WAGES PUERTO RICANS ARE POOR
ENOUGH THAT THEY WILL NOT PAY TAXES TO THE
U.S.,PUERTO RICO WOULD BE ENTITLED TO SIX
OR SEVEN CONGRESSMEN PLUS TWO SENATORS
THE CONGRESS IS LIMITED TO 435 MEMBERS AT
LEAST SIX STATES WILL LOOSE A CONGRESSMAN
AND TO END THIS THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE
OF PUERTO RICO DO NOT WANT STATEHOOD AND
WHEN AMERICANS LEARN THE FACTS NEITHER WILL
THEY.

Wait, I went overboard, I must revise my figures to correctly factor in what El_Boricua just said:

Attention USA:

Spend $50 Billions every year for the next 20 years in order to save $19.4 Billions yearly for the next 4 years if Puerto Rico would become a State: SUPPORT PUERTO RICAN INDEPENDENCE !!!

That would be me (I'm a taxpayer) and I have voice and vote and I say I'd rather pay the price than to give you "Independence"...
..besides you are an American...like it or not.
