As an engineer, you should know that the integrity of any source of information is critical to make assesments. How could anyone trust the assesments made by those who have direct interests involved. It's like asking the devil if hell is a bad place. Get me an INDEPENDENT agency impartial to the situation and have them perform the study.Please!! Are you actually saying that if the US navy organizes a study investigating the effect their abuses have on the people of VIEQUES is going to be impartial and accurate? You better than anyone know the navy's track record. The US navy is at its best when it comes to coverups, fiascos,lies etc..

So what you are saying, viequez needs to reach the cancer rate that of USA just to be considered a threat? Jibaro is not that your point?

I am saying lets keep it low or even lets make it disappear, is not a best statement. Just the USA has a high rate of cancer it does not mean that we need to reach their level.
