It has been sometime, since I have taken time to read or write in this forum.

One of my last reading was that of El Jibaro,linking the terrorist with the separatistas whom want Puerto Rico to become a republic.
In my opinion there was no excuse for El Jibaro to write the way he did. Yet I understand where he is coming from.
El Jibaro was expressing his anger resulting from the horrible nightmare from which we cannot awake. The nightmare
that leave us numb, hollow-eyed and fumbling.

The US is acustomed to take many punches without retaliation. Yet I have a feeling that there will be a backlash in response to anything against the US in the future. This could very well translate into changes in the US posture that could affect Vieques.

Bludgeoned daily with headlines of senseless mayhem and
unspeakable carnage, millions of americans try to escape;
of course, to be able to close ones eyes and inmerse in a
world without wailing sirens or breathless neww bulletin.

I cannot understand, but I feel so much closer to my fellowman...I guess the grief unite us..

When I started participating in this forum,I sought a place
to exchange ideas and learn from others. Soon I realized
that this forum have deteriorated by the manner in which some of the regulars use the forum. They used it for propa
ganda, to insult others and in other cases to nullified and accused people. I found myself falling in the same trap. For those that I strongly critized, I offer my apologies.

Yet at this time I feel I have little to gain following this forum; as long as it continues to deal in the way hereaboved mentioned by some.
So my folks, I will not participate as I used to...although from time to time I will take a peek to see if this forum develop its potential and becomes a political forum in the true sense of the word. Hasta la vista.

Michael; Nice to hear from you again, even though we are on different sides of the political fence, i.e., you being a estadista and me being an independentista. You know also that I was sorry to see Carleone pack up and leave the forum, because although I disagreed with him almost on everything, he could write pretty good in Spanish, and some of his maromas really made me laugh. Like when he posted his webpage and had that entire page filled with the image of a fully armed and headon sailing U.S. Battleship. LOL

As to your decrying our political forum for its nitty-grittiness and even discordant posts at times, it seems that you may not be cut out for the world of politics, although your initial posts of slamming all Boricuas, who for one reason or another had left P.R. to earn a living or get education; and even going further to tell them they had no right as Boricuas to concern themselves with the political issues of our Island-Nation, because they were not currently residents there, DID SEEM TO BE THE HARBINGER OF ANOTHER MUD-SLINGING ARGUMENTATIVE POLITICIAN.

Now, what you seem to be presenting us with is not the political world that you could not take, or as the saying goes "if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen" and so you did, but instead seem to present us with the world of diplomacy and/or statesmanship. DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT YOU ARE OF THE CALIBER TO ACT OR CLASSIFY YOURSELF AS A STATESMAN?

Whatever you opine about that, let me tell you that perhaps you could appeal to the administrators of Puerto Rico.com, and ask them to create a new forum entitled International and State Diplomacy. Or something like that or what the administrators would think best.

Again, no hard feelings and it was nice to hear from you again, and try to do good work and keep in touch.

Ahh yes I remember it well, that was when the Sekigun, a group of international JAPANESE TERRORISTS (none Moslems) attacked the airport in Tel Aviv, opening fire with machine guns, and yes assassinating a large group of Puerto Rican religionists who were of that religionist nutcase El_Jib's church, viz, the Holy Roller Pentecostal denomination.
