Marina reanuda hoy ejercicios bélicos en Vieques

SAN JUAN (EFE) – El comisionado de Vieques, Juan Fernández informó de que los ejercicios militares en el polígono de tiro en Vieques se reanudarán hoy, lunes, a partir de las 8:00 de la mañana.
Fernández dijo a El Vocero que los ejercicios de esta semana serán similares a la semana anterior y que los mismos se extenderían hasta el 16 de octubre.

"El capitán Steve Shegrub me dijo hace unos días que ellos estaban consientes de que lo más que se podían extender era hasta el 16 de octubre", declaró Fernández en relación al período de duración de las maniobras.

Indicó que hasta el viernes se habían lanzado unas 125 bombas, entre ellas 85 de 25 libras de peso, 38 de 50 libras y dos de mil libras.

Además, se lanzaron 9,500 balas de calibres de 20 mm de 7.6 mm y de 5.5 mm. EFE

Thanks for the news. But I also know about what's been up because before I left
from France and now that I am back I have been working with a small Boricua group
of people outa San Diego. They keep very updated on the situation always and always
working to educate the general population in Cali about Vieques. The position of the
couple of Boricua groups in Cali has been as far as the WTC catastrophe is that
all types of terrorism is bad for all people, including navy excercises in Vieques
or Bieke (as they have schooled me), which much of the population in Vieques has
been feeling terrorized for 60 years, especially like the young children.

So yea was in S. France visiting my Dad's family, had wanted to fly from France
directly to P.R. to check it out in September. I checked the flights coming back
that month, don't remember the date, but one was going to fly back to Cali
from Boston. I had been interested in that one since I gotta friend in Boston.
But didn't go, just stayed tranquila in France cause I was short on cash. Don't
rember the exact date of that flight, just a mid september weekday. So who knows.
Sometimes, it's all good to be short on cash!

I am seeing how we are all grieving from all the death at the WTC, but I am also witnessing how these politician are taking advantage of such terrible situation and changing laws in front of our faces.

This is completely unjustify, abusive and absolutely not a democratic way of doing things. The most painful thing about it can be assess to our own freaking blood and leaders I looked up to. It is obscure and painful time for us freedom lovers, I do not know who is in charge anymore, in this Republican USA nation, the people or the military?

I need a break befor I get a heart attack...Take care sister...
