[i]How come that after 103 years of supposed majority in favor of Statehood, it has not been granted yet???
![]() From 1776 to 1886, the US admitted 38 states, of which Arkansas spent the most time as a territory, 60 years (1776-1836) From 1886 to Present, the US admitted 12 states, of which Hawaii spent the most time as a territory, 61 years (1898-1959) Puerto Rico has been a territoy for 103 YEARS.
