One of the main questions the Anexionistas NEVER answer is:

[i]How come that after 103 years of supposed majority in favor of Statehood, it has not been granted yet???

From 1776 to 1886, the US admitted 38 states, of which Arkansas spent the most time as a territory, 60 years (1776-1836)

From 1886 to Present, the US admitted 12 states, of which Hawaii spent the most time as a territory, 61 years (1898-1959)

Puerto Rico has been a territoy for 103 YEARS. NO STATEHOOD

Is there really statehood at the end of the road???

That's an easy one to answer... NO!!! ja ja ja

Pues como dice el refran: "Caballo malo se vende lejos".

El Riograndeño ese... GUAILI

[b][i]I ALREADY KNEW THAT WAS HIM. I READ BACK ON ALL THE ARCHIVES HERE AT PUERTORICO.COM UNTIL AS FAR BACK AS YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE!!!

I HAVE PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMMORY IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THAT. HE USES THE SAME WEAK ARGUMENTS TOWARDS INDEPENDENTISTAS AS HE DID THEN AND THEY'RE STILL WEAK

HE EVEN SPAMS THE SAME WAY

AND WITH THE SAME STUPID EXACT IDENTICAL IMG HE USED THEN

GO BACK INTO THE FILES AND RIGHT CLICK ON IT, THE IMG'S HE USES ARE FROM THE SAME SOURCE.

BACK THEN I BELIEVE SOMEONE ELSE I FIND TO BE REAL COOL ON THIS FORUM WAS HERE UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME DURING THAT TIME TOO

ATENTAMENTE,

GUAILI

Really? Who? Is it this turkey-boy I read you and El_Jibaro converse of in a thread?
http://www.puertorico.com/forums/sho...?threadid=8442

Doesn't really seem you thought he was "real cool" by calling him a name like that. Just my opinion. I, as well, have a somewhat photographic memory of threads. Take care.

Why no statehood?

Well my friends there are so many reasons, but let me ask, after so many years, why has Congress not given us liberty? I rather have Puerto Rico free. I personally believe it will work, because more then half of the population will leave and there will be enough land and work for everyone who stays behind. I have no problem with independence, but it seems that only 4 to 5% of the population wants it. What would el Pueblo do if Congress says enough and just cuts us off, gives us economical help for several years? We can go on and on about this, but we will never get an clear and concise answer because we, and I mean all of us are biased toward a certain way of thinking.
