Personally I think that if a church does not go by what the BIBLE says it isn't christian! The Catholic faith has made up alot of things that are nowhere to be found in the bible. I have yet to met a catholic that can prove to me that the Virgin Mary will intercede for us, and where in the BIBLE is this?

Hi Jackeline: Not all catholics are the same. I know true catholic christians. Some of them don't want to move to another church because they want to make a difference and others out of fear of other christian churches, won't leave. I know the ones that say they are catholic and never visit a church or the ones who worship idols in the church. We need to pray and have faith that God will take care and enlighten the people around us. I'm a born again christian. God Bless you !!!

You know I truly do not like to knock on anyones religion. For one reason, every religion thinks they are the truly choosen one. I believe that we all started off on the right foot, (Religion that is) but added much more than we needed too. How do we know that the Jewish religion isn't the true religion or if the Buddah isn't the true religion, Or Catholics, or.. Im sure you get the picture. There is one Item that has been with us for a very long time, that is the Bible. Im sure there is someone who might knock that also...Who knows which one is the truest?! I believe in God and what is right in my heart.............Cuidate CaliRican Eda

The Holy Father assures the world every day that he alone is the Vicar of Christ.

Obviously Jackeline has a misconception as to what a Christian is! A Christian is someone who believes in Jesus Christ! If you read about Jesus's first miracle you will find that he performed it after influence from his mother. They were at a wedding and the wine ran out. Mary "interceded!" and convinced Jesus to make more wine. ( To sum it up shortly.) Who better to pray for you than the holy mother of Jesus. Not to say that her prayers mean more than the prayers of your fellow brothers and sisters, however there is power in numbers and where there are three or more gathered in his name he will be there. You should not only ask Mary and the saints for prayer, but also your friends and family. Oh and by the way I am Catholic.

Jackeline,
I am a Catholic and I know that Catholicism is based on christianity. Out of respect to everyone else, I was raised not to criticize anyone's religion. I feel that we all believe in God. The main thing is to follow a good christian life and not hide behind a religion and then do wrong. Isn't it in the bible that they said," he who is without sin cast the first stone". Even Jesus who is the greatest would not turn his back on anyone. If he didn't judge, why should we? I respect all religions and expect people to respect mine. I went to catholic school and yes, I did study the bible. It is unfortunate that all people don't take the opportunity but it is there. It is up to the individual, just like it is up to the individual to follow his beliefs.
