Puerto Rico Arecibo Lighthouse [04:24]
It is located 18º 29' North, 66º 41.9' West, on the North Coast of Puerto Rico, 34 miles West of San Juan. This was the last lighthouse built by the Spanish government in 1898. The style of construction is neo-classical with a rectangular shape of 40'4" (12.30 mts) wide by 84'2" (25.64 mts) long, and has attached a hexagonal tower covered by a bronze dome with a working lantern. The original lens was a third order Fresnel, with an 18 mile radius. At the present time it has a 190mm lens with a white flash every 5 seconds.

Sounds of Cemetery of Forgotten Shells [00:52]
We have been beachcombing this area of Joyuda Beach, Puerto Rico for years. This year, we discovered that the greatest accumulation of seashells had migrated from one point to another one. The sounds they made when the waves rolled over them were appealing to us and, although we didn't fully capture them, we hope that you can still appreciate the tinkling of the shells and the soothing sounds of the waves.

This video is way past due... I had the opportunity to travel this summer to the Island of Enchantment 'Puerto Rico' as well as explore the blissful island life of the US Virgin Islands. I'm an explorer, and island hoping is on the top of my list. LOVE IT! I recently recorded a cover for Damian Rice's "The Blower's Daughter."
