Peeling off grapefruits: Paseo de la Princesa - Sunday evening (Old San Juan, PR - 01.01.2012) [00:26]
Paseo de la Princesa skirts the curved walls of the old city, greeting tourists with shops, cafes and a delicate fountain along its shoreline path. One of the most pleasant San Juan attractions, the promenade is a nice way to take a stroll at night or in the afternoon. Lined with flowers, statues, palm trees and all sorts of things you'd expect on a stylish promenade, Paseo de La Princesa connects the port to the city gate in charming San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In the last couple of years live-size statues of Sri Chinmoy have been placed in Oslo, Bali, Prague, Puerto Rico, Nepal, Mazatlan , Vaasa and Seattle. The artist behind these sculpures is Kaivalya Torpy from England. I recently had the chance to speak with him in Nepal, where the latest statute was inaugurated on a hill near Kathmandu in Nagarkot. Kaivalya speaks about the beginnings of his artistry, the many faces of sculpting Sri Chinmoy and very exciting plans for the future. Learn more in this newest episode of LIFE Voices, #33!
