  • What kind of car do you drive?

I think it would be interesting to see what kind of cars the people of this forum drive. I think the car you choose often reflects your personality.

I drive a Honda Accord. A nice reliable, car with good gas mileage. I intend to see the odometer to 200,000.

Hey J-Rod, thanks for your post. That's a nice truck. I like the color too. I'll bet you take really good care of it.

Thanks for sharing, Jeni. Nissans are good cars that go the distance too. We looked at the Altimas before settling on the Honda Accord. The Maxima was above our price range and though the Altima was within it, it was just a little smaller in leg room than the Accord.

RAN, your Ford looks a little like my Honda, the roof does anyway, with the black lines running parallel on either side. We looked at Tauruses because they got such good ratings on consumer reports, but my husband doesn't trust any of the Ford sedans. He does like their trucks though.

Thanks, Geri! You always make me smile. I didn't know you drove up and down a mountain to work. Wow, do you go through brakes a lot? LOL! And what about when it snows? I had a friend who lived at the top of a steep hill. In the winter, every time she went home from work, she had to stop her car and put chains on to get up the hill. I asked if she had to do that in the morning too, because not being a morning person, I would really hate that hassle. She said no she didn't do it going down the hill. She just let her car slide down. LOL!!!

Geri, I know about driving on the ice. I hate it. Nothing has me more scared to get on the road than knowing the roads have frozen up. I just take it real slow and if I start to slip a little, I try to put my right wheels on the shoulder to get some traction with the sand or dirt. I hate it when other people come too close to me, you know? You just want to say, "Get away from me. You might slide." Or how about those that think they can stop on a dime just because they got a 4x4. I don't know how many SUVs I've seen flipped over on the interstate since I've lived here.

Well, we got some responses here, but not from some of the others. Maybe they don't like divulging too much information about themselves.

So, let's try something different. If you could have any car you could have, which one would you want? What is your DREAM CAR?

Mine, well, I've always been partial to Mercedes Benz, a sports convertible. Funny, I don't even know what the new ones look like anymore.

J-ROD, that is a nice car. And at over $80,000 sticker price, it IS a dream. LOL! Most people probably know what it looks like, but let me see if I can pull in a picture of it.

Shoot, I just can't get the code right. RAN, are you still watching this thread? Help!
