Things you have to believe to be a Republican today:

Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.

The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.

A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multi-national corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.

Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.

The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.

If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy. Providing health care to all Americans is socialism.

HMOs and insurance companies have the best interests of the public at heart.

Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools.

A president lying about an extramarital affair is a impeachable offense. A president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none of our business.

Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness, and you need our prayers for your recovery.

You support states' rights, which means Attorney General John Ashcroft can tell states what local voter initiatives they have the right to adopt.

What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did is irrelevant.

Response to Camano from a Republican

My fellow American Camano: You have, for the most part, just written a beautiful advertisement about the republican agenda. You also pointed to things that make somet evil platforms of Democrats as follows:

*A woman has no right to murder a baby attached to her woumb. Abortion is one of the greatest sins offending God
    today!
    * You think supporting Gay/Lesbian rights is good! Why would any real Christian ever do that. The attacks on Marriage and family are prevalent today and supported by liberals Democrats. This is also s serious mortal sin and extremely un-natural. How can this be supported and it has nothing to do with trust. Men and Woman only have babies if and when you are married. Don''t ever destroy this precious life.

*President Bush told Corporate heads that if they cheat or steal they will be prosecuted. That has been done with Enron Executives.

*Why attack and over tax the rich and corporations and take what they have because someone else made different decisions and did not become as successful.

    * This election will be a battle between godd and evil. Doing away with late term abortions. This was a great victory for the unborn.

    * President Bush tried to get NATO, whose butts the US saved so many times, who helped pass the many resolutions in the United Nations, and chickened out at the final moment because they were basically helping Saddham and getting paid well for it!

    * I'm proud we have a strng President who said we don't need you...and we were the ones that were attacked, not the French and Germans. The criticsm of President Bush on this is so false as he did try to get our allies to help.

    * God's Peace to you!

Exactly, because adolecent love abstinence. As if humans don't love sex, that is why they get married, for sex. Otherwise what is the point to mariage? For a religious person I meant.

That is sad, they actually believe that is true.

                  Davy: Response

Davy: the liberrals tell so many lies that after a while they become truth to those who hate President Bush!

I am an MBA an know that the economy was going down at the end of President Clinton's last term in office. Then the big 9/11 arrived. Many stopped flyingd, travelling in general. Being at home was a safe alternative. One loss affected another downturn. Many firms closed. Many small businesses, the higher employer in the country folded. Bush my friends had nothing to do with the loss of these jobs.

President Bush cut taxes and sent checks to those Americans that pay taxes. The liberals say he cut taxes for the rich. Well, I got a big check and I'm not yet in the 3% income minority. This again is another liberal lie.

Those of us who understand President Bush see the truch in his policies and how they work to stimulate the marketplace. John Kerry is talking about providing new jobs but fails to say how he will do it. The only thing he knows is how to raise taxes, create government programs with the tax dollars from those that work. This doesn't do anything to make jobs. The free enterprise system, which has proven successful, is the only way of job creation. This is why the terrorists are looking to weaken us economically by attacking wall street, and other big commercial entities. President Bush will strike them hard and we have the might to do it. If our European allies get with the program our fight will be easier; however, if they don't we'll do it on our own. This type of bravery is what I respect!

President Bush's administration has been and continues to be one of the most tragic administrations in the history of the US on many fronts: fear, trade, employment, consumer confidence, security, civil rights, small business enterprise, inner city development, agriculture, the environment, international politics and foreign affairs, racial relations in the US, separation of church and state, economic policy, immigration, health care, WAR (my fingers are getting tired, so I'll stop here for today). The impact from issues such as gay rights and abortion (quite frankly, old political clitchés), pale in comparison to the issues people disenfranchised by this administration, both in the US and abroad, face every day.

I put this administration's bad luck and circumstance at par with Roosevelt's (the 2nd) and Lincoln's. Too bad neither Roosevelt nor Lincoln are Presidents now. We have Bush.

VOTE for a fresh start. VOTE for your rights and those of those around you. VOTE for freedom without government intrusion of your privacy rights. VOTE.

Response to buddies who disagree with me.

Gentlemen (and ladies too if you are nearby). I am willing to give up the type of freedom that allows the local police, or FBI, and CIA etc., to tap my phone, cell phone, work phone as they search the airwaves for terrorists. Since I am on their side the police may stop me any time. This is the price we have to pay on the war on terror! Since I've done nothing wrong, I don't have to worry. When we win the war, which will take a long time, then we'll talk about ending these laws. The democrats want to end these laws now which again supports their desire for President Bush to end the war.

The permissive society that I've talked about before results in problems that people can't fix on their own and feel the government must come to their aid, The democrats are so willing to help these people, or make them think they are helping when they are not. After many years of being in power...democrats have not ended guettos and povery, and people still don't have health plans. The Republicans encourage self motivation which keeps everyone busy achieving their goals. Student loans are available for everyone to obtain a college education, or learn a trade and then work to pay the loan back! Some people however, want the government to give them the money.

Motivation and success come from setting goals and setting up a roadmap for doing it yourself. Only the few helpless people be helped until they get back on their feeet again.

Someone commented about Jesus..Jesus I believe loves everyone regardless of their character or actions.
When I am face to face with poeple that hate Bush, it is because he is anti-abortion, anti gay lesbian rights and pro marriage between a man and a woman only. When they use the term female health issues, it usually means the latter items. The second is Iraq, yes I felt threatened by the extremely bright Iraquis under saddham Hussein. None of you have complained about his gassing of the Kurds. I saw the babies dead with their mothers (also dead) holding them. He had the ability to make and prepare wmd's that could have been provided to other terrorist organizations.

I and many of my friends are serious Republicans. We don't support anything goes and if doesn't hurt me let it be! Yet, l love many people who are so liberal and can't understand why I support Bush! I don't see any other way to be my friends after weighing the agendas of both sides.
I don't think the liberals want Bush to succeed in Iraq because that hurts their agendas; however, in we will win and the Iraquis will still own their oil! We will buy it from them and not steal it as some liberals say!

My friends you have a right to your positions, while I disagree with Kerry, agian I state that I don't hate him! If he wins, I will respect him as President but I will never agree with his agenda. It's as simple than that! Again, God Bless all of you!
