    Matthew 16.26
What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

    Matthew 6.24
No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

    Luke 12.29-31
And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

      Luke 12.15

Then He said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."

i think it's a waste of time. when you put it in a Biblical perspective:

        1. everything i have comes from GOD.
        2. He gives me everything i need.
        3. i want my life to be parallel to His will.
        4. i wait on the Lord.

why would a person gamble? if GOD was in favor of gambling, we'd have casino's in church. He likes Faith and Trust and Giving. then He gives back, overabundance...i know you know all this stuff....but when dealing with others who may not have as strong a relationship as yours with Christ, ask them, WHY? why would they gamble? why do they seek to gain rewards without works?

the bible tells us that God is the alpha and omega, so that indicates that that all we are and all we do are left up to him.
