    Errors in Reasoning?

Your article should probably be posted in religion rather than the philosophy section. The nature of philosophy is reason. The very premise of your entire "article" is that many of the basic tenets of your sect (specifically Catholicism) are faith based. They cannot be reasoned out. You are an apologist and should be willing to admit as much. Claiming that you seek a "dialogue" does not appear to me to be true based on your website.

Before you attempt to disassemble another religion, I would suggest that you take more time to study that religion. A good course in comparitive religion might do you some good.

As an example... Any idea where the rosary came from? St. Jerome brought it back from India and the Hindus. He watched them using their prayer beads so that they did not have to stop and count the number of repetitions of their prayers. It became the rosary.

Dear fellow or madam, before you level the charge of fallaciousness - look to your own words first.

      For "The Minister"

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and that Muhammad is his Messenger.

      To my brother, "The Minister"
Can you personally argue or debate against Islam yourself. What do feel about Islam, and why do feel so strongly against Islam?

In the Name of the Almighty God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

I bear witness that there is no God but Yahweh, and that Jesus Christ is His Messenger.

The Quran is a book that stemmed from a very disenchanted Arab man, Muhammad, who was in diametric opposition to the Old and New Testaments, the testaments accepted and followed by followed by Jews, Christians, and Arabs all over the ancient world until a sense of patriotism forced Muhammad to break ranks with the Way. Apparently, Muhammad was unable to fit into the established Law and grace of God adhered to be the followers to the Most High for some 2,000 years, so he needed a religion for "HIS" people - this is when the alleged revelation from an "angel" happened. Angelic revelation is a method of receiving revelation that is not of God, and the apostle Paul warned about different gospels coming through this medium some 500 years before Muhammad's alleged vision, he warned believers in Jesus:

“I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting him who called you by grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another genuine one . . . but even though we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to a gospel contrary to which you have received, let him be accursed."

        Galatians 1:6-9.

False teaching arose even in the infant church, which needed immediate attention from the apostles of Christ. The "other gospel" was legalism - striving in the flesh to gain salvation - such ungraceful error was quickly intercepted by the Holy Spirit. The Quran is thought to be delivered by an angel, and not surprisingly, it is very different and contrary to the gospels of Jesus, John, and Paul, hence a false gospel. I care much about people everywhere who are being deceived by this false gospel that set itself against everything established from Abraham to Jesus Himself. You need to test the spirits. The Quran is relatively new, and does not agree with the teachings passed on by the saints and prophets of God through the ages. This is a serious problem for Islam, and there is no way of reconciling its error with the teachings of Abraham, Moses, and Jesus Himself.

              Lets look into this deeper.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

              Dear The Minister,
May this posted reply find you in the best of spirits and in health. My brother, you are historically incorrect to how Islam was founded. In essence your argument gives 'a disenchanted man' more credit than he deserves. No man in the history of the world was able to reform an entire nation of people and influence the world progressively within a 23 year period like the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did 1400 years ago in what is now known as Saudi Arabia. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was illiterate, thus he could not comprehend the writings of any scripture that preceded him. That is why he had Abu Bakr and Ali as his companions write the Qur'an as he recited it. When Jacob wrestled with the angel in the desert in the Book of Genesis, God gave his lineage the covenant. Jacob's name was changed to Israel, thus those who came from his blood line were called Israelites, thus the Nation Of Israel was born. As the 2,000 years went forth, those in his bloodline began to deviate from the path of God, thus violating the covenant. Jesus was sent as a last warner to the Nation Of Israel to still preserve their last covenant. Their way of thanking God, was attempting to kill his servant. Thus, God had to move his covenant from the Nation Of Israel and give it another people. Thus the Arabs, who were distant relatives of the blood line of the Israelites received the last prophet, Muhammad, to re-establish the covenant of God amongst the people. Prophet Muhammad did not come to discredit what was taught before but to reestablish to its original state being that the scriptures had been misinterpretated and altered for gain of those in high power. Let me point out to that in Christianity it is believed that Jesus was the only begotten son of God, and thus was sent by God to save the world of its sins. Okay, the only begotten son, right. Well, in my research of the Bible I find many instances where God calls others than Jesus 'His son'. In Genesis, Ch.6 vs. 4, it reads, the sons of God came unto the daughters of men and they bare children..' Sons of God? There is more in Exodus, Ch. 4. vs. 22, it reads 'And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn.' In Psalms Chapter 2 verse 7 it reads, 'I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.' Also in Psalms the 82nd chapter, the 6th verse it reads, 'I have said, Ye are Gods, and all of you are children of the Most High.' So, here are references in the Bible of people being called sons of God other than Jesus. I am not trying to convert anyone to Islam, but I want my Christian brothers and sisters to stop looking at their faith based upon face value. I feel the deeper that we look into our faith, we will constantly accept the challenge to change, and when we change then we can manifest change in those person's lives that need change. i.e. drug users, prostitutes, criminals, etc. I believe that if Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was here and was Jesus (PBUH) they would be holding hands in brotherhood. They were sent by the same God. It is when we start to try to tear down each others religion that we in turn tear our society down. Min. Farrakhan fellowships with Christians, just as much as he fellowships with Jews, and Muslims. Our last national convention was at Christ Universal Temple in Chicago, Illinois. We can disagree with ideology, but the principles are the same. In the Bible, Jesus said that Satan cannot preach against himself. Thus, if Islam is teaching obedience to God and Christianity is teaching obedience to God, then neither can be of Satan. I will go further into the jinn on the other post, if it be the will of Allah. I just have to go get my Holy Qur'an. I do want to apologize if I have come across as someone who is trying to tear down your beliefs. That I am not trying to do. I am trying to exacerbate your knowledge of your beliefs. I want you to go preach your beliefs to everyone you see. We are living in Satan's world. The Jinn, or the evil inclination that was within man when God created him has taken over. It is time to balance the scale. Let me go into the concept of the jinn in the other post.

              your brother and servant,

              Hector Falu-Muhammad
