Culebra's Flamenco Beach Offers Idyllic Perfection
If pristine beaches and idyllic beauty is what you're after, then you need look no further than Flamenco beach. Situated on the island of Culebra just off the coast of Puerto Rico, Flamenco Beach is perhaps the most stunning and tranquil beach you will ever find. Many would even call it 'perfect'.
Flamenco has been dubbed the “best beach in America” and the “best escape beach” by relevant authorities. A mile or so of striking white coral sand is juxtaposed by turquoise waters and well covered hills. But this beach offers more than the best stretch of coast in Puerto Rico - it offers solitude.
Though the area was once used for naval exercises, it has now been given the status of a Marine Wildlife Reserve. These conservation efforts have definitely benefited the coastline. If you choose to dive, you'll find some of the most stunning coral reefs available in the Caribbean. And what's more, you won't have annoying boats, jet skies and crowds competing with you in the water.
If you feel you've had enough of the beaches, you may choose to take a walk around the island where there are many remnants of navel machinery to view. You could also spend a day hiking on the island or just sit and relax under the lush foliage. Les cuento mi gente de mis vacaciones en la isla del encanto que comparti junto a mi esposo, mi cunado, amigos y mi padre querido al que amo con todo mi corazon. Pues nos dimos la tarea de ir por toda la costa para conocer todas las playas y son una hermosura. Mi gente tienen eso fue una experiencia inolvidable y toda la isla muy limpia, la gente muy amable y que se diga del trato que te brindan los adoro. Mi esposo hacian 12 anos que no viajaba a la isla del encanto y quedo sorprendido de todo el orden que tiene mi Puerto Rico y de todas las playas tan bellas que tiene la isla a pesar de su pequenito tamano tiene muchas cosas grandes de admirar y de nunca jamas olvidar. La playa de Culebra. (Flamenco) muy hermosa es un sueno, mi gente linda nunca olviden bien lo dice el nombre La Isla del Encanto. No se dejen llevar de lo que dice la gente de nuestra isla y echenlen ganas vayan a disfrutar de nuestro lindo Puerto Rico. Yo ya estoy planificando volver en el mes de junio que rico.
