Event details

Imani McGee of the Monarcas de Juana Díaz and Pamela Rosado of the Atenienses de Manatí were selected as captains for the 2026 Baloncesto Superior Nacional Femenino (BSNF) All-Star Game. Metro Puerto Rico reported that the game will be played on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Coliseo Dolores “Toyita” Martínez in Juana Díaz.

McGee will lead Team Sureste while Rosado will command Team Noroeste. Each of the league's franchises will send two players to the event. Activities begin at 3:00 p.m. and include the Skills Challenge, Shooting Stars, Three-Point Contest and the Rising Stars Game for young and emerging talent, El Vocero reported. Tickets are available at printcotickets.com, according to all three outlets.

McGee's season

McGee earned MVP and Defensive Player of the Year honors in the 2025 season. She currently leads the BSNF in rebounds and blocks while averaging 17.7 points and 15.4 rebounds per game with 43.5 percent field-goal shooting, El Nuevo Día reported.

Both Metro Puerto Rico and El Vocero gave matching figures for her performance.

Rosado's contributions

Rosado, who serves as captain of the Puerto Rico women's national team, is averaging 13.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game with 42.5 percent field-goal shooting. She ranks second in the league in three-point shooting percentage, all three sources stated.

The reports agree that two players from each BSNF franchise will participate in the All-Star Game.

Where the sources differ

All three sources agree on the captains (McGee for Team Sureste, Rosado for Team Noroeste), the date (Saturday, Oct. 17), venue (Coliseo Dolores “Toyita” Martínez in Juana Díaz), start time (3 p.m.), additional events (Skills Challenge, Shooting Stars, Three-Point Contest, Rising Stars Game) and ticket platform (printcotickets.com). The outlets report identical season statistics for both players. El Vocero and El Nuevo Día explicitly note that each franchise will send two representatives; Metro Puerto Rico states the same. No major numerical or factual conflicts exist among the reports.

What the reports do not say

The sources do not name the full rosters for Team Sureste or Team Noroeste beyond the two captains, nor do they identify the young players selected for the Rising Stars Game. They provide no information on expected attendance, broadcast plans or any special recognitions planned for the event.
