Surrender in court

Metro Puerto Rico reported that José Sánchez Ramos, 39, a resident of San Lorenzo, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for violations of the Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention Law (Law 54) and the Weapons Law. Court proceedings
The man was taken before Judge Vanessa Rozo of the Caguas court, Primera Hora and Metro Puerto Rico reported. The judge set bail at $300,000; since Sánchez Ramos did not post it, he was ordered held at the Bayamón Correctional Complex, also referred to as the Regional Jail of Bayamón.
The police urged anyone with information on related cases to contact them confidentially at 787-343-2020, according to Metro Puerto Rico.
